I think the beauty of a name is all in how the person perceives it. When I was pregnant with my daughter I was totally in love with the name Skyler (Sky for short) but everyone else hated it. Incidentally her name isn't Skyler, because when the nurse asked what her name was I said Paige (which I believe is also a beautiful name and suits her far better than Skyler would have)

It depends on many things, but I will tell you my favourite. I think that names should mean something, like some message to carry out. So you can connect them with attributes that you wish your child have. I would give to baby boy name: Petar (english:Peter), cause it means that he would be strong as a rock. And girls name that I like is Yulya (russian version of julia, it sounds so sweet). Sofia is also great name for girl, and it means: wisdom.

the one that is the most beautiful to you may not be to me. Whatever you do name your child something that you wouldn't mind being called. I like victorian names like katherine, julia, elise, ansley, and for boys i like daniel, eric, lanier. I guess because you know that their name will fit when they are 70. I know a woman named Jennifer and she is 70...of course you aren't going to change your name but jennifer doesn't seem like it fits her.
