what do you make of this ludicrous claim that muslims keep hammering away at christians and jews, when jesus lived about 600 to 700 before mohomed? how could jesus have been a muslim if he existed prior to Mohomed? And do you know that this is a claim that muslims made up only after the real barberic nature of islam was revealed to the world by fanatics. as a young boy growing up in india my muslim parents never made this claim nor did i ever hear it. its a recent claim by muslims
I remember my muslim uncle once telling me that if the muzzin shows a muslim a lump of human bog and say that its gold they would believe it.

Jesus was a jew because Mary and Joseph were jews and raised Him that way.

Muslims believe in God (Allah they call Him) and they believe that Jesus was the Son of God but not divine, not God. Jesus was a great prophet. When Jesus was on the cross and He said "God why have You forsakened Me...." God had empathy for HIm and immediately took Him off the cross and brought Him to Heaven. Then yrs later God sent another prophet, Muhammad, to finish the teachings that Jesus started. Muhammad was human and not divine as well. Muslims believe Muhammad will be the last prophet to be sent and when the last day is here, Jesus will come back to earth but will be a Muslim. He will go to Mecca and pray and banish the evildoers and live on earth with the believers (Muslims) and get married and have a family. He will die of old age and when He died God will bring Him and all the believers to Heaven forever.
This is their belief because Muhammad convinced many that he was a true messenger of God. There isn't anything wrong with people believing different things.
I think the Mormons are a little weird. They believed Joh Smith from only 150 yrs ago. That religion I can't comprehend.

Muslims believe that the word of God (e.g. the Torah) had been sent down through the ages by various messengers (i.e. prophets like Abraham and Jesus), BUT it had been altered by man.

Islam became a formal religion when the last prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) received the word of God - the final, unaltered collection is the Qu'ran.

In the period before the Qu'ran was revealed to Muhammed (peace be upon him), Muslims still believe that the prophets sent before him were sent by the same God (Allah). That is, we believe Jesus (as with the others) was Muslim too although Islam wasn't a formal religion during that time.

There is One God and One Religion. This is a fact.
The difference between the holy three religions are at the procedures level not at the broad lines.

These three religions decend from Ibrahim religion and let us be logical if there is one God, and if the father of all the prophets are one so we should be sure that what in these all three are the same.
