Im from New Zealand, and it is all up to what kind of place you will like, if you like the urban life, parts of Auckland will interest you, its like most big cities but with alot less crime and trouble. If you are looking for natural beauty and rural life, pretty much all of New Zealand has rural beauty, i suggest at the foot of a beautiful big mountain. There are many pretty little cities dotted all over the country if you want something in between. Napier is my home town, has around 60000 people and has a urban life with magnificent scenery outside the city, a beautiful backdrop of mountains, much like the Seattle or Vancouver skylines go to www.newzealand.com for more details, its an awesome country.... please give me 10 points if i have helped, hehe

i imagine it really is advantageous to ask your self numerous questions first.. , small city or farm living are large in an proper international, yet truth is a ways extra complicated how can you artwork, help your self, make money? What skills and skills do you've? you may favor to stay in a higher city because this is the position the artwork is... what type of funds do you've ...? which will make a distinction to you available selections. do you want to purchase a resources or employ? How lengthy are you intending to stay in NZ? Are you emigrating to New Zealand? do you want to attend (re)practise classes, language classes as a fashion to get a job? ( a lot of professions require classes to substantiate that you meet complete NZ criteria formerly you could do a similar interest in NZ case in point) To be extremely honest, this is not so ordinary as choosing an section at random except you've such an endless funds that you'll purely flow an purchase the dream. i'm a Kiwi ( New Zealander) and would get a private loan in NZ if I meet the criteria,( ie i am going to pay the inner most loan) yet my Dutch husband *isn't* eligible for an NZ mortgage ( he's even with the undeniable fact that allowed to purchase a house outright if he had 100% money) you'll favor to take all of this into interest and then plan your selections from there.. i'm very sorry to allow you to realize that purely searching at an excellent image does not mean that there'll unavoidably be artwork and an earnings that you'll be in a position to stay there in case you do not have the necessary skills and funds to make it ensue. all huge cities have internet, small ones too, yet probably dial up..( sluggish) in very rural aspects it may be available to get a internet service like " Scorch" to position in you a swifter connection. ( we've used them to get internet to an section the position there became very constrained get admission to and cherished the service) it may be between the things you'll ought to ask contained locally community formerly settling everywhere in NZ. Water and electricity are commonplace everywhere in NZ too...... good success !

I have been there and it is a glorious country. I didn't go to the North Island, but did the South Island. Milford Sound is a fab place, but for work I guess Queenstown or Christchurch would be good.

Good luck!

i would say wellington is the best place to live and work, great location, clean, lovely people, but known as the windy city for a reason!
otherwise i would say queenstown in the south island but prob not as much work there.
