I wanted to make a pitcher of mojito for a barbeque next week but I don't know exactly what goes in it. I have an idea but I'm not sure of exact measurements or anything like that. Any help is appreciated.

Nina, I did google it and I came up with a whole bunch of different recipes and I'm trying to find out people's favorite recipe and also it only gave me individual serving recipes. Thanks for your help

Here's the recipe and ingredients that I use. I think they are made best in pitcher size rather than making multiple individual drinks.

You will need:
Wooden Spoon
1 liter pitcher (preferably glass, a martini pitcher works well)
Ice
2 ripe limes
fresh mint
1 bottle Cointreau
1 bottle Mount Gay Rum (or another good brown rum)
1 bottle Tonic Water

Cut and squeeze both limes into the pitcher. Pluck approximately a dozen mint leaves and drop into the lime juice. Add a splash of Cointreau and bruise the mint leaves vigorously with the wooden spoon. Once this is completed, add 1-2 handfuls of ice. Pour the rum into the pitcher to taste (usually just enough to cover the ice is fine). Add the Tonic water until the pitcher is close to full, and stir again with the wooden spoon.

Drinks should preferably be poured into glasses chilled in your freezer, but a glass filled with ice will do just fine. Makes about 4-5 servings.

Basic mojito is just white rum, mint, lime juice, sugar syrup, soda water & crushed ice.

Crush the mint leaves, pour the syrup over, cover with ice then top up with rum & soda water.

Exact measurements don't matter,just experiment until you get a mix you like

Mojito

* 2 ounces light rum
* 1 ounce lime juice
* 2 teaspoons sugar
* Mint
* Soda Water

Place sugar, a large pinch (small handful) of mint, and splash of soda water in a pint glass.
Use muddler to lightly press mint and dissolve sugar until it smells of spearmint gum.
Squeeze both halves of lime into the glass, leaving one hull in the mixture.
Add rum, stir, and fill with ice.
Top with soda water, garnish with mint sprig and serve.
