I just started my fall classes and met this really attractive woman who I wanna talk to problem is she is in the same class as me and sits directly behind me. I don't want to make it uncomfotable for either of us if we don't hit it off so should I go for it anyway? Be honest ladies her GPA and mine are in the balance.

There is such a thing as talking and being friends.. You don't have to jump the bones of everyone you find attractive the first time you talk to them . ask her out and have a good time . and see how it works out between the two of you.
If there is something meant to be between the two of you then it will happen.. if not it won't happen and you can still be friends.. then you don't have to feel uncomfortable being in the same class with each other or her sitting behind you..
There is such a thing as men and women just being good friends you know..

Life is too short to sit facing forward all the time. You don't have to try kissing her right away. Engage in a conversation and see what her schedule is like. When you know she should have a free moment, invite her to have a cup of coffee and study together. If she seems figity, then she probably isn't free. But you will never know until you ask.

I am a firm believer that if you are attracted to someone, and they are single then see where things lead. Maybe ask her out as a friend at first and see where things lead.

Go for it, just handle it like an adult if things don't work out.
