You can make your own french fries. You cut the fries yourself from potatoes. (the skinner the better). Bake them at 375 for 45 mins (turning once) and then broil them until they look like fries. You then can add salt (sea salt is better than regular). Another trick is to marinate them in italien dressing (fat free, calorie reduced). You can also use the low fat italien to fry the potatoes for homefries and to cook chicken.

Excuse me, I think you are joking. A little child like yours is already eating junk food?
I am not wondering anymore why Americans are so fat!! If you're
stuffing up your children from childhood with junk food. How about cakes and candy? Why not Pepsi or Coca Cola or any kind of sweet sodas? Why not right after a child is born?
Sorry, but you're asking such a question that is making me nervous.

Ditch the french fries and try cut green apple the same shape and dip in baby yoghurt, it's no good bringing up a baby on saturated fats so early to start a terrible habit

Spray the uncooked chips with oil cooking spray ( you can buy different flavours) and any flavour packet soup mix. Toss the chips in a plastic bag with the soup mix and then oven bake. You can also spray them again if you wish. The taste is different than deep fried but the tastebuds soon adapt.

lol....I remember I used to say i was going to give my son strained hamburger, french fries and milkshakes also at that age..you migh try them with a little cheese on them, but not too much...or just let him enjoy them as it..as long as he has a good appetite, I see nothing wrong with them..I like mine with ranch dressing or tarter sauce also..have fun!

give him something else... you don't have to give him fries. You are the parent, give him some veggies or fruit. If the child is hungry it will it what you give it.
