wow - loaded question!
IMO the best religion is one that helps you walk the path that God has laid before you in a manner n which Christ wouldn't mind walking along beside you. a walk that will take you along in life and see you succeed into God's heavens.

Cristian because they tell good jokes.
A truck driver amused himself by running over lawyers as they walked down the side of the road. Every time he saw a lawyer walking along the road, he would swerve to hit him. There would be a loud "thud", and then he would swerve back on the road.
As the truck driver drove along one day, he saw a priest hitch hiking, he pulled over and asked the priest, "Where are you going, Father?"
The priest said he was on his way to his church up the road.
"I'll give you a lift."
The priest climbed into the passenger seat and the truck driver continued down the road. Suddenly, the truck driver saw a lawyer walking down the road and instinctively swerved to hit him. At the last minute, he remembered he had a priest in the truck and swerved back onto the road. Even though he knew he missed the lawyer, he still heard a loud "thud." Unsure of where the noise came from, he glanced in his mirrors. When he didn't see anything, he turned to the priest and said, "I'm sorry, Father. I almost hit a lawyer."
The priest replied, "That's OK, I got him with the door."

Islam, cos we submit to the one and only God , simple as that , no intermediary or anything.
And we believe in all His messenger from Adm to Abraham, Moses and so on. And we obey God command.
Christian-they cant even know if Jesus is a messenger, a God son or just part of a trinity. Some even claimed Jesus is God, blasphemy.
Judaism-they dont accept Jesus as their messiah, and thus been following the old testament, which content has corrupted with time.
Hindu-though they hav a single God, they;re making God appear in different form on earth.God is sinle, fullstop.
Buddhism-do they even believe in a creator.Ask them who is they're creator. Most seem to pray to buddha, who is a human.

Wel first of all peace to you!
to know any religion you have to see the scriptures what the scriptures says about the religion and to know how authentic is the scriptures you have to study about the scriptures, From the Time of Adam to the time of Muhammad all prophets gave the same message and they warn people ,The message that God is One, if ya read Bible OT, you wil come to know that God is one ,If you read Bible NT, you will come to know that God is One, If ya read THE QURAN you will come to know that God is One , even if ya read hindus scriptures God is ONE, so i am telling you that don't see the followers or any critics about religions read the scriptures of the religion and seek the truth.
Muslim believe all prophets from Adam to Muhammad (peace upon them all),Adam, and Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, John and Jesus amongst many others (may peace be on them all).
We believe in Bible which was revealed to Jesus , but today bible is not that bible, Human corrupted the bible, and according to Bible It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."
When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned".
We believe some of the verse in Bible which is same as Quran, coz Bible contains words of God, Words of Prophets, and also Words of historians, so we can't believe in full Bible.
Quran is the last and final revelation which was revealed on Muhammad peace upon him to Humankind not only for muslims, if ya read Quran all your Question will be answer, you come to know who really is God and what he wants from Us , why did he created Us. etc...
But there might be some Question and misconception about Islam due to Media and anti islamist all ya questions and misconception will be answer if ya read Quran with understanding...
Francis Bacon, the famous philosopher, has rightly said that a little knowledge of science makes man an atheist, but an in-depth study of science makes him a believer in God. Scientists today are eliminating models of God, but they are not eliminating God. If you translate this into Arabic, it is La illaha illal la, There is no god, (god with a small ‘g’ that is fake god) but God (with a capital ‘G’)ALLAH.
QURAN AND SCIENCE
THEORY OF PROBABILITY
In mathematics there is a theory known as ‘Theory of Probability’. If you have two options, out of which one is right, and one is wrong, the chances that you will chose the right one is half, i.e. one out of the two will be correct. You have 50% chances of being correct. Similarly if you toss a coin the chances that your guess will be correct is 50% (1 out of 2) i.e. 1/2. If you toss a coin the second time, the chances that you will be correct in the second toss is again 50% i.e. half. But the chances that you will be correct in both the tosses is half multiplied by half (1/2 x 1/2) which is equal to 1/4 i.e. 50% of 50% which is equal to 25%. If you toss a coin the third time, chances that you will be correct all three times is (1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2) that is 1/8 or 50% of 50% of 50% that is 12½%.
A dice has got six sides. If you throw a dice and guess any number between 1 to 6, the chances that your guess will be correct is 1/6. If you throw the dice the second time, the chances that your guess will be correct in both the throws is (1/6 x 1/6) which is equal to 1/36. If you throw the dice the third time, the chances that all your three guesses are correct is (1/6 x 1/6 x 1/6) is equal to 1/216 that is less than 0.5 %.
Let us apply this theory of probability to the Qur’an, and assume that a person has guessed all the information that is mentioned in the Qur’an which was unknown at that time. Let us discuss the probability of all the guesses being simultaneously correct.
At the time when the Qur’an was revealed, people thought the world was flat, there are several other options for the shape of the earth. It could be triangular, it could be quadrangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, heptagonal, octagonal, spherical, etc. Lets assume there are about 30 different options for the shape of the earth. The Qur’an rightly says it is spherical, if it was a guess the chances of the guess being correct is 1/30.
The light of the moon can be its own light or a reflected light. The Qur’an rightly says it is a reflected light. If it is a guess, the chances that it will be correct is 1/2 and the probability that both the guesses i.e the earth is spherical and the light of the moon is reflected light is 1/30 x 1/2 = 1/60.
Further, the Qur’an also mentions every living thing is made of water. Every living thing can be made up of either wood, stone, copper, aluminum, steel, silver, gold, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, oil, water, cement, concrete, etc. The options are say about 10,000. The Qur’an rightly says that everything is made up of water. If it is a guess, the chances that it will be correct is 1/10,000 and the probability of all the three guesses i.e. the earth is spherical, light of moon is reflected light and everything is created from water being correct is 1/30 x 1/2 x 1/10,000 = 1/60,000 which is equal to about .0017%.
The Qur’an speaks about hundreds of things that were not known to men at the time of its revelation. Only in three options the result is .0017%. I leave it upto you, to work out the probability if all the hundreds of the unknown facts were guesses, the chances of all of them being correct guesses simultaneously and there being not a single wrong guess. It is beyond human capacity to make all correct guesses without a single mistake, which itself is sufficient to prove to a logical person that the origin of the Qur’an is Divine.
CREATOR IS THE AUTHOR OF THE QUR’AN
The only logical answer to the question as to who could have mentioned all these scientific facts 1400 years ago before they were discovered, is exactly the same answer initially given by the atheist or any person, to the question who will be the first person who will be able to tell the mechanism of the unknown object. It is the ‘CREATOR’, the producer, the Manufacturer of the whole universe and its contents. In the English language He is ‘God’, or more appropriate in the Arabic language, ‘ALLAH’.

There is nothing called best religion. All are unique of its own kind and they reach the god in different path ways. Every religion is meant to teach love and affection to humans.
God or the almighty is like an ocean and the religions are like rivers which ends up in the ocean. religion helps us to reach god.

I dont think there is one particular best religon. Whatever people beleive in and use to get them thru their lives is their business. As long as what they believe doesnt hurt anyone in the process. As they say: To each his own.

There is only one true teachings, go back into the bible & see what the Apostles of old taught, it will be the same in the endtime as it was 2000 yrs. ago. I never take what man can say, unless it is in the teachings of the Apostles. They are the ones we should follow. You have over 1000 religions in this world. But you see only one teaching in the Bible.

if you think that, then you dont need a religion. in my opinion, religion is just a method of control, set up by a few leaders, who want to keep the followers in line. i dont need religion to believe in god.
if you must belong to a religion, then choose wisely. weigh the pros and cons of each religion, and dont be duped into going a certain way, just because "everyone else" is doing it, or because if you dont, then you will "go to hell".
learn about each religion, then choose one (or choose none) that goes along with how you live your life.
