Thats really sad. Sorry about that.
Perhaps..and i know this is is difficult but you could leave your partner if you are so unhappy. No one deserves to be cheated on. You are worth more than that.
I was really unhappy for a long time because i was single and couldn't find any nice men. Now i have a lovely guy. Everyone has a right to be happy.

Then leave hun, there is no excuse for staying in an unhappy relationship.

My advice is not to pitch into a relationship in retaliation, you will just end up feeling cheap.
However I do know of couples who stay to gether and yet see other people. it works for them.
Just don;t get hurt any more than you probably are already.
