Abel Alonzo, Director of Human Resources, is exploring employee absenteeism at the Plano Power Plant. Ten percent of all plant employees work in the finishing department; 20% of all plant employees are absent excessively; and 7% of all plant employees work in the finishing department and are absent excessively. If a plant employee is selected randomly, and F is the event "works in the finishing department", what is P(F)?

Assuming the employee is chosen from a list, rather than from among all those people actually there that day (which there's not enough information to determine, since we don't know exactly how often they're absent), 10%.

Thanks for the review quiz. I AM going to apply for that math teacher job!

P(F)=0.1

The question stated that 10% of the people work in the finishing department. The rest of the information is irrevlevant.
