I've noticed that eating a lot of grapes (which actually contain a lot of sigar) help me lose weight. Can it be so

grapes contain sugar yes, but they're mostly water.

you'll find only 67 calories per 100 grams (300 calories per pound) in grapes. That's only 1.6x more than carrots. And that's 4x less than bread.

If you eat, say, a pound or grapes, you'll have just 300 calories and a fairly full stomach because of all the water. And if you do so before a meal, or during a meal, this will prevent you from eating a lot of foods with much higher calorie content (one pound of bread is about 1200 calories).

So what you say makes complete sense to me.

Would work with most fruit, too, as most fruit has a bit less calories than grapes (a bit less, not much less).

Good luck

No...it doesn't make sense, but every ones body is different. Grapes do have a lot of water in them and maybe they are acting as a dietetic. Make a food diary and see. Maybe you have some food allergies and the grapes are counteracting some allergens that are causing you to retain water. But you are correct...grapes are high in sugar and do not normally contribute to weight loss.

Grapes or any fruits/vegetables digest easier, so you probably will lose weight. Grapes are good for the heart also.

ok here i go...although they say that fruit is good for you and it is...fruit contains alot of sugar so you would be losing weight very fast by eating nothing but grapes, although you would think of that to be true because they are so tiny and they are FRUIT. he he if you wanna lose weight eat nothing but vegies and the kilos will drop off like...hmm cant think of anything but it works... all you'll get by esting grapes is some smelly farts and some diarohea ha ha good luck!!!

Grapes do not contain any weight loss properties, so probably not; However grapeseed oil is very good for the body.

the sugar in grape is fructose, and not sucrose which in large amount is bad for us(in exessive amount will be convert into carb, than store as glycogen)
furthermore , there a lot of fibre in grape that can help throw out your fat consumption
