If I put all my Christian friends under a microscope like where George Bush is with everyone, everywhere then I would probably see a lot of things that I don't agree with but I wouldn't put down their Christianity. NOBODY is perfect. And no, it doesn't make me question my own belief system. I just go by what the Bible says, not my fellow Christians actions.

Anybody can be a Christian, even - as you say - buffoons.
The embarrassment comes when a buffoon is elected to be the President of the United States.

Imagine how messed up this world would be if Bush converted to Islam.
Then America could behave just like the Muslims. And the Muslims couldn't bitchh about it.

How could what someone else claims to be possibly embarrass me? How does this reflect on me at all?
I wouldn't be embarrassed if George Bush called himself a woman. It reflects not a jot on my womanhood.
What Bush claims, and what Bush does, reflects on one person: Bush.

He maybe the chief of the u . s . yet he nonetheless has human beings he has to respond to to and assessments and balances to persist with... Christians have lead our protection tension from each and every place from the President to the backside Non-fee officers in each and each branch of the protection tension, and for as long as this u . s . a . has been around. No president is right, and not all have been Christian, yet maximum had a non secular history that assisted of their skill to function and to lead... in case you're able to do greater efficient please get your petitions in and run for place of work, and strong success!

Remember when the Dixie Chicks said they were ashamed that Bush was from their state? It sort of feels like that.

It's a gimmick. People have used religion as an excuse to hold power for thousands of years.
