The very fact that The Amighty has no gender or shape. Allah does not depict that the Almighty is male or female but there can be gods and godesses. Allah can be referred to as 'God' with a big 'G' when talking to non-muslims, but there can be various gods with small 'g'. So we muslims do have a problem in calling Allah as God

Allah indicates ONE and the only Creator. God may be used for the Idols etc. That's Muslims don't call God(cuz of the ambiguity of being the only one).. they call Allah.

No we have no problem in calling ALLAH as GOD.
But the problem starts here.
If you add 's' to GOD it becomes GODS, which means Plural of GOD which is against Islamic Monotheism, which says, GOD is ONE. There is nothing as single ALLAH or plural ALLAH. ALLAH, GOD is ONE
If you add 'dess' to GOD it becomes 'GODDESS' meaning a female GOD, which is against our belief. As GOD Almighty does not have a gender. GOD is 'The Creator' CAnt be compared to HIS Creations. Note that i used 'HIS' but this doesnt mean that GOD is male. Its a pronoun. There is no female ALLAH or male ALLAH.
Thats why we call ALLAH. As the English word GOD can be played with and cause serious trouble. BUT if you say GOD we have no objection. But we like to remind the above things.

No problem here. Depends on who I'm talking to. To non-Muslims or very weak Muslims, i usually say God... to Muslims I usually say Allah. To others I say The Lord,The Creator or The Almighty...
All are the same... God is One.

I recently made a research through which I discovered that some askers do not bother even to read about the universal basic cultural knowedge. (I'm joking! Ok, God & Allah refere to one thing = the creator of everything. That is all. I know that moslim friends of mine call God Allah and vice versa.

Have you seen specials on PBS? My father turns it on sometimes. They translate Allah to God on the TV when everyone already knows that Allah means god in the US. What's with that?

What's in a name that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet? I'm a Muslim-- non-practicing-- and I almost always call Him God... well unless if I'm around other Muslim people-- which I rarely am-- because then I'll get the real evil eye that can chill the blood in you.

because dear
we muslims beleive that there is only one creator, sustainer, destroyer, forgiver et all n we also beleive
that "Allah" does not have wife, children, relatives like we humans
have so going by that god has the feminine word goddess
but Allah"" doesn't amount to any feminine word like goddess for
god et all
so we muslims dont prefer to use unless unavoidable n imperative

No, I personally don't have a problem but usually the Arabs insist in saying it in there own language maybe because they have a deeper feeling and understanding of it when they say it in their own language. Islam has come from the Arabic speaking country so its connected to their culture and language and that could be why they they insist in using that word alone and not God.
This is just my opinion because usually when you speak your mother tongue language you have more connection and understanding to your culture, country, values and etc... than when a foreigner speaks your language.
In the Thesaurus they are just synonyms and to me they are one thing, not too picky about it !
