There is a wide range of prices: $800 to $40,000. You did not say if it is an HDTV projector. If it is, and you want good quality, prices start at about $3500 (Sharp) for a 1280x720 (720p) DLP projector. An excellent 1920x1080 (1080p) projector is the Sony SXRD at about $10,000 http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_BrowseCatalog-Start?CategoryName=tv_FrontProjectionTVs&Dept=tvvideo

So that is the range of "reasonably-priced" front projector. However, don't forget the screen. It doesn't make sense to get a top projector and an inferior screen. The screen will cost up to $2,000 depending on size and features. Stewart Filmscreen makes the best.
