so im tryin to decode his behaviour, i still cant believe i may of been ditched surely hed have more respect and be able to talk to me if hes not into it anymore instead of sayin he needs time wouldnt he????

"I need time to think" means one of three thing and three things only.
One: He is reconsidering the relationship and is weighing the pros and cons, trying to figure out if he should stay with you.
Two: He is thinking about cheating on you and doesn't know if he should.
Three: He is cheating on you and is racked with guilt, and doesn't know if he should tell you or bury the lie forever.
I am sorry that the relationship is turning sour for you, I'm sure you are a great person. Just remember that your great and can get a better person. Don't try and expedite the process by dumping him. It will justify his actions then, instead play it out but be on the look out for potential boy friends and above all. If and when the break-up does happen, don't get mad at all, just shake your head like you can't believe this is happening or like you knew it all along and when he asks why ain't you mad, just say, "I'm not mad....just...disappointed." Nothing will shatter a man more than hurting a person so much that they are disappoint in you. You not yelling or breaking up with him causes him to be the bad guy. (Sorry about reveling some major game plans against us guys, but I gotta tell it like it is.) I hope this helps, good luck with your life.

It's not that he's not into it anymore, but perhaps he's not sure if he is able to commit properly. Perhaps he finds the idea of long term relationship daunting because he has entered one properly just. I don't think he wants to dump you , but you should probably talk to him about what bothers him and see if you can help him forget about it.
