no but the freemasons made a rank named that in honor of them. I saw it on the discovery channel :D granted the freemasons aren't the best bunch to hang around with anyhow.

Yes they do still exist, I picked up a book to widen my knowledge of them, but only got a bit of the way through because it was putting me to sleep every time I tried to get into it. There was a little thing at the front that was a page or two stating that the Knight Templar, still have churches, and anyone curious is welcome to check them out. They except people of all walks of life.
I still would like to read it, but it might take a while, and I would like to check their place of worship out but I am not about to join their church any time soon...

there is a group today in England that calls themselves that - but from the report i saw they don't live by the creed of the templars at all, which is give up everything and follow Christ. They looked like a club.
There are Templars out there, but they don't make it known or public and rather do the work in secret.
