prolife.com is a great site, I've actually had the opportunity to talk to the site's creator, JT Finn, and he's an awesome guy. The site has tons of awesome info as does the prolife Love Matters newspaper, also produced by JT -- and a lot of that info is on http://www.lovematters.com Great sites. JT is doing great work.

One of my favorite parts of the prolife.com site is the quotes from former abortionists -- it's really eye-opening to hear those who've worked in those places talk about what really goes on there.

I watched a very disturbing video from one of the links you provided. I don’t see how anyone who watched that could ever have an abortion. I know now that I will never have one, if I cant raise my child I will put them up for adoption. There are even open adoptions now where the birthparents can have a small role in their birth Childs life.

I’ve always thought the only reason a woman should get an abortion is if there was some threat to her life. I could understand if a woman was raped or incest was committed however I still think the best answer would be adopting. Is it the baby’s fault that its father raped its mother, or that it is incest child.

People should also realize there is no 100% birth control except not having sex. Even with Condoms, Pills anything there is a small chance you could end up pregnant. Yes I think there needs to be more education there are other options then just abortion or adoption, you can drop you baby off at a hospital/police department / fire house no questions asked. There are also as I said earlier different kinds of adoption. IMO if a person is not prepared for the consequences of having sex they shouldn’t be doing it

PLEASE READ ENTIRE ANSWER BEFORE JUDGING, PLEASE.

I don't think anyone can deny that life begins at conception. But a few cells do not equal a person. It can be considered the possibility or the blueprints of a person maybe.

I don't agree with abortion personally, but I see no problem with taking 'morning-after pills', if necessary, because they do not kill a living, breathing, thinking person as opposed to abortion.

I think abortion should be allowed in extreme cases, if the mother was raped or her life is in danger due to complications, but only if very early in the pregnancy before a brain and heart develops. And that does NOT include pregnancies from consensual sex with no protection.

For me, this has nothing to do with god or religion, because I am an athiest. I think it is a matter of responsibility. Don't have sex unless you're using protection or are prepared to produce and care for a child. If you have unprotected sex, either prepare for pregnancy, or go immediately to your doctor or Planned Parenthood for some morning-after pills. If you find out you're pregnant, and you're more than a month along, then get ready to have a child. If you can't care for a child for whatever reason, make plans to give the baby up for adoption.

I don't see why abortion is even necessary in most cases. If you get pregnant while using protection or taking birth control pills, (which does happen) and don't find out for a couple of months, why should your child die because of a little inconvenience to you, or because your birth control failed? In a case like that I feel it is morally wrong.

But how would you prosecute in a situation like this? This is the problem I have with this issue. I think that religion needs to be taken out of the picture and scientific facts and health consequences need to be taken into consideration with making laws regarding abortion in any form.

Women/girls who get illegal abortions, should still be held accountable, I'm just not sure how. Why aren't mothers and doctors educating women about their options? I didn't even know about the morning-after pill until I was 25. There are still teenagers out there who have babies and leave them in trash cans because they apparently don't know they can take their baby to a hospital and give them up and not be charged with a crime.

I think prevention should be the main focus, by supporting abstinence until adulthood, and also education regarding birth control, the morning-after pill, and adoption.

I believe life started a very long time ago. . .Conception is just a continuation of it and that particular life form will eventually end with an abortion, illness, murder, by accident or going to war for Bush.

I believe no one should ever get an abortion for any reason other than a medical emergency with every effort to save both the lives or which ever life is more feasible.

Even a pregnancy which results from Rape ends an innocent life.

However, it would be more unfair to make abortion illegal. I worked in an emergency room back when it was illegal. I worked nights and EVERY night we would get botched abortions. Young ladies bleeding badly . . .I even had a 14 year old girl who drank AMMONIA to stop her pregnancy.

I watched a 3 month old baby die because the only doctor in the ER at that moment was trying to save a girl from bleeding to death from a botched abortion (when they brought the baby in who had stopped breathing). I never want that to happen again.

Women will get abortions regardless of the law. Want to stop wasting lives. . .tell Bush to end this madness in Iraq. Meanwhile. .educate our VERY young women so that they know that life started a long time ago, and that conception is a major part of it.

you're precise; it is alive. yet a bacterium additionally has no criminal rights, so this assessment has assorted applications to the final question. i've got not got self belief that any valid argument may be made for abortion rights based completely on the status of the fetus, and that i evaluate people who attempt to pretend it is not a human existence to be very lots on the incorrect music. the genuine subject must be the rights of a pregnant woman. Can the government cope together with her like assets (in specific, like incubating equipment)? people who argue that it could, of direction, are helping the view of Communist China.

What gets sticky for me is that "conception" can occur outside of the body, using ART, IVF, etc. Sperm and egg are mixed, some are fertilized, the embryos begin to divide, and then they can either be "transferred" to a woman or deep frozen. It doesn't seem right to classify something that can be frozen, thawed and then used to impregnate a woman as a life or as a baby. It is only when an embryo implants in the uterus it becomes viable and a woman can be said to be "pregnant."

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
God has a plan for your life. He brought you into this world to fulfill that plan. It is the best plan that anyone could ever make for you. It is a plan that will bring Him the greatest glory and you the greatest good. From the beginning of this calendar year until its end, God is working out His plan.
As you follow God's plan for your life, you do so by faith. It is important to remember that He is the Guide and you are the follower. He does not need to bring you into His planning room as a consultant to help Him decide what is best for your life. God has called you to trust Him and to take the next step of obedience according to His will. God has said, "I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them." Isaiah 42:16 NKJV
Here are some ways that God is working out His plan:

He is your Shepherd—He is leading you.
He is your Provider—He is taking care of you.
He is your Strength—He is enabling you.
He is your Counselor—He is speaking to you.
He is your Shield—He is protecting you.
He is your Comfort—He is encouraging you.
He is your Father—He is blessing you.

I hate these types of question because they piss me off. But I feel like I have to answer them because they piss me off and I want the whole world to know that abortion is murder no matter what stage of pregnancy.
