Why does my ex still call me and want to see me if he broke up with me after I moved away to college? Should I act like I don't need him even though I miss him so much and love him more than anyone. I don't know how to act and why does he still keep in contact. He tells me "he wants to know what is going on in my life?!?!" its beeen 2 years since he broke it off b/c he could handle long distance when I moved away to college and he is 7 years older(20 vs. 27).

Maybe he knows he lost a good girl and he can't get over you. I think he also doesn't want you to forget him. I think you should move on and cut all ties with him for awhile and see what happens. Play hard to get, after all he broke up with you. He hurt you! If he truly loves you he will come after you and if you still truly love him you will take him back. Only time will tell. Some times being away from each other will prove your meant for each other. Love can work in mysterious ways!

You've broken-up the relation, i.e. both of you are free and remain just good friends with no strings attached whatsoever. If he's lamenting and regretting the good old days then he's gotta find himself a new gf and you've got your own new future at college which you ought to devote your full time and energy for.
