I m user of yahoo messenger in India.when I want to start communication with my friends when what I type and what answer I got from my friends both r invisible.Nothing has to be seen in communication area

people may think that english grammar is not taught in india ;-)
but I dnt have an answer to ur question.
may be some connectivity problems i believe.
Try using sites like meebo.com or e-messenger.net for chatting

Try changing your font settings. Maybe the prefrences used in your settings are not supporting the fonts used.
