I have a Panasonic Network Camera model BL-C10, but I find that the view is far too wide for what I need, is it possible to fit an additional lens to it to reduce the view by about half? What would I need?

This may MAY - work...

Go to a watch repair shop and see if they have a suitable lens. There are many situations where a watch buyer is not happy with the tiny little date window on the watch and the watch repair place can place a tiny lens on top of the date window to magnify the date.

You will need to find an adventurous repair guy who sees the possibilities of modifying all these 43 degree view cameras. You are not the only one with this problem. If he can figure out a way to make it work for you, he can do it for a lot of others as well. Explain this to him and have a go. You will need to be able to test the various lenses before he makes it permanent to see if they will work and which one gives you the field of view you want.

Please note that modifying the lens could ruin it! If a drop of glue gets into the lens, it will not be in focus and will not be repairable under warranty.

;-D Good luck and happy viewing!

Some cameras have a panoramic option.
Read the manual and check the settings on the camera.
