These are just amusing little parlances that me and some friends enjoy throwing into the conversation. You know, just to spice things up a bit.

well I know that in Utah they say "oh my heck" but that doesn't sound right to me.
Just try "oh wow" or "yikers".
I think it's awesome that you are trying to say something else so you aren't using the Lord's name in vain. I just cringe everytime says "oh my god"

Gosh, Oh my Gosh, Jeepers creepers, Gall darn... etc. I could go on. I think it is funnier than swearing, it grabs attention in a Ward Cleaver kind of way.
