Your local vet should be able to help you out with that. We have 2 cats and they are both insured by our vet by paying 25dolloars a month. Good luck and i hope this helped you.

"More than" insurance is good. as is Tesco and Pet Plan has to be the best.

It really depnds on the cover you want, some only cover illness for a year, some cover upto a certain amount of money.
I think Pet Plan cover illness for life with a maximum spend each year.

To all of those people who have said you dont need insurance for a cat, you cant really have any idea of how expensive vets bills can be!

i had a friend who had to have her cat put down last year as she had no insurance and it got run over, the vet could have operated but it would have cost about £2.500 which was money she just didnt have..

insurance costs about £6 a month.
To me, £6 is a little amount when it garuntees that if the worst happens you give your pet every chance of recovery.

I recently looked at halifax pet insurance and got a quote for £3.75 per month with no extra cost for spreading the payments over 12 months. This was for a pedigree cat too. This
was for the basic level of cover which is not all that different from the upgraded cover. The main differences being the amount you are covered for things like catteries and the cost of replacing your pet should the worst happen. The basic cover still offered more than enough.

my cats are insured with marks and spencers, i pay £5 per month each and have no excess, nor do i have a maximum number of claims per condition. its the best insurance i could find after being with direct line, who charged a £35 excess for anything! i can even claim back the £3 for the worming tablets my cat has! it is without a doubt the best insurance around. highly recommended. they pay my vet direct too so i have no hassle- just have to fill in my name/address/policy number on the claim form and hand to the vet who is required to complete the rest!

I certainly have coverage with PetPlan. This coverage enterprise grew to become into cautioned by using my cat breeder. It costs £22 according to month for 2 cats, alongside with dental cover. PetPlan provide 2 months loose coverage once you're doing away with a coverage.

It's not a good idea to buy it. Think about it for it to be worth it for the vet to offer they must make money on it. This means on average you will pay more for the insurance than if you just paid for the services.

Good luck.. Animals insurance is just as expensive as ours is. Plus whatever age your cat is whether it's 1 yr old its cheap, If it's 11 yrs old forget it.
