I have looked on many websites and cannot be sure. The lady at the cattery said one was a flame - point and the other a chocolate - point. Neither match the descriptions exactly. Is there somewhere i can post a picture and get another opinion?

Siamese kittens will darken with age, so they may not look the way they will as adults. Flame Point is not a regognized color for siamese cats, but is is anything from a light cream to a darker orange on the points. Chocolate Point can be a little more tricky, as the points are not as dark as seal point, their body is a lighter cream color, and usually have lighter paw pads. I personally have a hard time with chocolate too unless the cats are mature adults.

Telling points can get you all kinds of anwsers. I used to have a blue point (grey on points) and a seal point (dark brown on points). Alot of people don't recognise the flame (aka fire) point. Here are some diffrent points and the colors:
Seal- most common dark brown almost black (cocolate ot some)
blue- dark gray
lilac- lighter gray (mostly a tocanese color)
tort- mixture of light and dark brown sometimes orange splotches
chocolate- most commonly just a seal only some people call it chocolate and some seal darkness varies from cat to cat
Tiger- tabby marking on the points (ringed tail) can be grey, black and brown

you could post pics on here and get peoples opinions...jsut post a link to the pics

also you have to remember that all animals are unique & may not fit the description "exactly" ...there is diversity in all living things
