Bacardi and Diet Coke is the only carb free drink that I know of but being diabetic, you are asking for trouble by doing that in the first place but you shouldn't have to stop living either. I totally understand the plight of this but my mother in law and father in law are both diabetic and they drink occasionally and it doesn't seem to bother them as long as they don't over do it.

everyone awnsering this wld say avoid alcahol but thats probably not an awnser u r looking for.so go ahead and have 2 small drinks of ur choice as long as ur diabetes is under check.make sure u dont add a sweetened drink to that and avoid high carbohydrate diet along with it.diabetes worse effects ur heart and they say red wine is good for ur heart so red wine is not a bad option either as it wld give u a feeling that u r doing as much good to ur heart as bad and it wld satisfy ur cravings too

Diet soda, water, tea (without sugar, or with artificial sweetener). Just give up alcohol, it's no biggie. It's engrained in society that at a social event we to drink, but this is totally not true. It's healthier to not partake at all.
