I've always been attracted to my neighbor, I used to always borrow his keys for the storage and sometimes we would say hi here and there. He's helped me out in different ways such as helping me get rid of a christmas tree etc. Though just when I was getting to know him he has to move back with his family for a while. So I gave him my email to keep in touch and sure enough a couple of weeks later I get an email!
We started getting to know each other more and we have a lot in common till he asked my age. When I sent a reply saying I was 16, all of a sudden the emails stopped. The last email was a month ago.. I know he is not a day older then twenty one and I dont see why he would stop talking to me since I am only a few years younger then him. I sent him another email two weeks ago and no luck. I know he only checks his email once a week or so. Though what happened? I really enjoyed getting to know him and he was always friendly towards me.

He may be a year or two older than you actually think, at which point you're "jail bait". You may have to back off a while and re-approach him, letting him know that you truly just want to be friends. Otherwise, if he's spooked, for whatever reason, you can't force this friendship and/or "relationship" and shouldn't try. I know it's disappointing.

He may just be feeling uncomfortable about your age. Give him time, he may just be trying to figure out how he feels for you. If he doesnt come around sooner or later..either move on or wait and get in touch with him again in a couple of years. Things wil work out either way dont worry:)

Sweetie he probably didn't want to hurt your feelings but it is against the law to do anything sexual with you being your 16 and he's 21. If he just wanted to be friends he'd still be talking to you. Since he stopped so abruptly he just wanted sex. Now that is just my opinion. Maybe he met someone else, there are all kinds of reasons out there and I wouldn't worry about it, just move on honey! There are tons of friendly/nice guys out there justa waiting to talk to ya!

He just doesn't want to go to jail, dummy. You can't date 21 year old boys until you're 18. It's the law. At least where I live. He didn't stop writing to you to hurt your feelings, and you didn't do anything really wrong, it's just that you're technically too young. If you don't understand that now, you will in a few years.

he is of legal age while you are under the legal age. He could very easily was developing feelings for you, and maybe when he got to know your age he decided to stop this 'new' kind of relationship. He could easily get into trouble if he persues a relationship with you.
