Unless she says otherwise you should stay just friends. It may have been a very tough decision for her - such decisions rarely aren't if the person cares for you - but if she is that wishy washy that she will go that much back and forth on a matter then she has high psycho potention and she probably should be avoid if your goal is a deep relationship. If your just looking for sex then stick around - but care because that can be a fire that burns badly.

She probably looked stressed because she hated to let you down. The old "let's be friends" is just a brush off unless you were good friends all the while you went out.

you can't tell if she regrets it just by her being stressed, maybe she's just going through some stuff right now. you should stay friends with her, and if you really like her, make sure she knows that you are willing to give it another shot. until she's ready, just be her friend.

According to your point of view, I think she's trying to concentrate on something more important,like studies or work, before she thinks about love. Yes, she might regret it, but let her finish and come back on her own.

she is obviously stressed about something it might not be regret be her friend and don't hassle her about what happened she might come back to you. she might have broken up with you because of other things going on in her life
