Damn! I thought it was going to be the punchline to a good joke - instead I find one of the biggest jokes in all mankinds written history... the bible.

Not the word of a god, just the words of Men, written to give them more control over a population. Fortunately we are evolving to the point where religion is un-necessary, thank god for that...
