believe? Like say, someone was sleeping with a married woman or molesting children, whouldnt that disqualify them from telling others what religion to be? If thats the case then more people need a background check before they preach to others, especially about christianity.

No man has the authority to tell other people what to do morally.
But all of us should remind each other about observing what we think as true morality. To remind others also means that we remind ourselves to make greater effort.
If we wait till our complete clean up to talk about morality, then we would have no chance, because we never reach perfection.
And it would be more dangerous if we assume that we already reached it!
Yes, please see the difference between the teaching of a divine teacher and the remind of a humble friend.

Definantly! If someone is doing something rotten, even if they *repent* they have no right to tell others what to do and what not to do, the bottom line is telling others how to live is controlling thier lives, and its up to you not them how you want to live your life.

Ive had some very bad experiences with christians and nobody can convince me they werent true christians its been one experience after another and i think its time for some real justice.

Who would get to set the guidelines for morality?

If a Christian sets morality then anyone the does not belive in God is not moral.

If an Atheist sets the morality then anyone that excepts things against known facts is not moral.

Or should we just let you define what is and is not moral?

Christianity, I don't believe should be "preached"....we are to "show" it in our actions. The Bible says for us to "take the cinder out of our own eye" then, and only then can we see to help other remove it from theirs. True Christianity is to show love to all things....anything else is from the d-evil.

Well, you certainly take extreme examples don't you?

It is not necessary for a person to 'clean up their own morality' to be able to 'tell' others what to do.

Who better to tell a person not to commit adultery than one has done it and suffered for it?

Does a child molester not have the right to tell others not to follow their own hideous example?

You are confused and I think it may have to do with your own guilt.

Do not confuse the example of others with your right to learn from their mistakes.

you would have to give me some examples...who exactly are you talking about? we all know that it is wrong for a preacher to mess around, but yes a lot of them do and are getting away with it, but god knows and will bring them down.

They would have the same right as any of us have, and chances are they would be a whole lot self-righteous than someone who thought that they were perfection itself.
