It is for a civil wedding, small number of guests (less than 50) in Autumn. The bridesmaid would be wearing pale guck egg blue and the flowers would be ivory. Your opinions are valued, thank you.

it's a very nice dress. someone said it would be better in white but i don't, it a civil ceremony so the colour will be fine. love the detail at the top of the dress. as for the duck egg blue bridesmaids, they will go perfectly as you can see the wall behind the dress is a variation of duck egg blue and it sets it off nicely. i think a lighter version will work just as well.

hope the day gos well, good luck!

It's too much detail, and definately not the right colour if you're having duck egg blue and ivory - it'll just look messy!

Go for something more classy or sophisticated like duck egg blue & cream/ivory - just those colours though. Duck egg is a very vivid colour anyway so can't really mix too much or everything looks too cluttered. Or try burnt orange and white.

Good luck anyway!

I think it is a beautiful dress. It is difficult to tell from the web site picture if the blue will match well, but I assume from your description that they will. The ivory flowers will be a wonderful touch, I would suggest flowers with large blossoms, like a bouquet of lillies. Best wishes!

Very pretty but just keep in mind (since I am full figured girl) you might want all the bridemaids to try that on before having them buy it. It's for a very thin person with little room for hips!! I just know because the last wedding I was in the maid of honor was 6 foot and 90 pounds and she picked out a dress like that and the rest of us looked like crap!! We ended up picking another dress.

I watched a show on the fine living channel and one of the leading wedding companies for high society said the biggest mistake women make is to wear strapless gowns. That girl in the picture does not have the figure for it and looks terrible.

The expert said that only about a 1/5th of the body types can wear strapless dresses/gowns but most want it and it looks bad on them.

I think that the dress is absolutely lovely, all I'd say was to be sure that the style will suit your shape. I love the colour, white is boring and can look old fashioned.
Bridesmaids in blue is lovely too and sounds to me like it will be a wedding that when you look at the photos in a few years you won't be going "oh my god, what was I thinking!"- very important!
Have a brilliant day, relax and enjoy it, the most important accessory is a smile.

The dress is lovely and will work well for autumn. I like it that you've gone for something different.
I wore a cream strapless dress and absolutely adored it.
Try it on and you'll know straightaway cause nothing else will match up to it.
Have a lovely day!

It's really cute! I'm so glad that brides are moving away from wearing traditional white dresses. BTW: Duck eggs aren't blue, but robin's eggs are :)

The colour will go really well with duck egg blue!

Not sure about the design though. Go and try it on, you'll know when you find 'your' dress!

Good luck!

Actually - - - it is quite sharp, especially if the wearer is as trim & enticing as the model in the photo - - - duck egg blue sounds cool. Good Luck.
