I think we scatter our lives by betraying our believes and damage our soul as well and it also affect our moral duties towards other.

No one here can judge....but knowing God the way I do, which is how Jesus taught, He is in my life all the time. Even when I do wrong and don't follow His word, He is still with me trying to get me on the right track.....which He does because I see the love and truth in His word. Judgement day? Isn't that everyday when you walk with the Lord-and not that He judges me everyday, but He is with me everyday. I know He will take me into the promised land, and have no question as to that, but He leads me even when I am not perfect to help me see His love. What more could a person want?

How important our religion should be to us depends in large part on how seriously we take it. Your comments suggest you are a Christian who believes we jeopardize our souls and our place in heaven by not taking religion seriously.

To a very large extent the way we practice our religion is a product of how badly we need the religion to keep us faithful and pure. Some people are more apt to sin than others, although all of us have sinned and need forgiveness.

Some of us have very strong faith and never have to consider how important our religion is. We already consider it very important and we let it guide our footsteps. Others of us need prayer and guidance every step of the way.

Your simple answer is that it should be among our highest priorities. For some of us this is already the way we live. Others will need to be led back to obedience and faith.

if u don't study for college final exams, will u graduate? or be there for another yr?
u have to prepare for AfterLife in this world, so that u can go into heaven, but if u dont prepare and keep on loafing around, then u wont get another life, u will be put to hell.
i invite u to Islam, the Religion of Peace, Love, Harmony & Humanity. But, dont take my word for it. Do research on ur own abt Islam. Read The Holy Quran, Read Books of Hadiths (Prophet's Sayings), Research by Authentic Reliable Books & Sites (Don't count on sites that defame Islam, 'coz they spread mis-information and misconceptions abt Islam, and they cant even back up there claims with sufficient proofs, thus they are basically rambling Falsehood abt Islam). Do all this research on ur own and dont believe in anyone's hearsay (Not even mine). May GOD (ALLAH) guide u on The Path of Truth. Peace to All.

Hi!

Religion is religion BUT God is God! These are two different parties. Religion is man-made, but God is everlasting.God has his own character.

You see, God's character is not dependant on what people think of Him.If God says "Jesus my Son is your ONLY way to eternal life", no religion can change that!It does not matter what other religions say, that will still remain in Him!

God is not going to judge the world according to their religions, but according to His rules...it is better to find out which God is true, and which one is a subject of religion before your death day.

Hope this helps!

Hug!

You are correct! Of course if you don't follow it you will be a loser!
Religion is a way of life not just something you do on Sunday! You have to study and do honest research , a lot of to find out what's right as many religions follow man's way and not Gods, no matter how they strive to justify themselves.

Religion: mans feeble attempt to reach God by his own power and strength.
Relationship: mans acceptance of Gods gift of salvation.

Reading the four gospels I read that Jesus the Christ opposed religion. Religion did nothing for man that God intended. A relationship with God through Christ is not a religion, it is a life.

If it is truly what you believe, then you should live it to the best of your ability. Do what you feel is right, though and don't follow someone else blindly. Spirituality is about walking the walk, not talking the talk.

It's as important as a tic on your butt. It's all a bunch of bs.....don't be one of the ignorant fools, devoting your faith into made-up stuff. You should worry about the looming Race-War. Remember "The 14 Words". White Power!

It's not how important "religion" is that makes a difference. What makes a difference is how our relationship is with Jesus Christ.

Our relationship to God is supposed to be the central point of our lives.

Matthew 22:36-37 states:

"Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?"

He said to him, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind."

With love in Christ.
