not sure if this is a good idea to tell young children. my 2 year old son is bad enough already, maybe i should not tell him about this loophole.

Ask God, He's the one who would be qualified to answer your question.

Yes. Anyone and everyone can repent and go to heaven.

A person who tells a lie is no worse a sinner than the one who murders.

No sin is worse than the next. All sins are sins. Period. Even satanists or devil worshippers can enter the Kingdom of God if they repent and are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. He died for ALL.

And repentance means never to do the thing again.

If you choose to be at your death bed before so called repenting (that's what I gather from your question), then Jesus will be the only one who can judge the sincerity of your heart.

And if you are really sincere, yes, you CAN see the pearly gates.

Praise God.

Yes. As long as you repent of your sins and change your ways you will be accepted into heaven. SO you can't be going around committing all sorts of sins just thinking ok if i repent of this i will be saved form Hell. I guess the bottom of it is God knows if you are truely repenting of your sins, after all he makes the final judgement right?

That's the whole idea of Christianity. Forgiveness and repentance. Read the story of the prodigal son. God is happy to get his wayward children back in the fold.

I sure hope so! because we are not perfect. I make too many mistakes. Heaven would be really empty if we couldn't repent.

I don't think it matters what religion you are. I think what matters is your sincerity, the true feelings of your heart if you are truly repentant.

Do we have to repent of our bodily functions??? LOL thats funny

"For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." there is not one person on this earth who has not sinned except the Christ, Jesus the Messiah. all those who are truly sorry and ask for forgiveness will be forgiven and they must be willing to change their attitude. after that they have a garenteed shot at the pearly gates.

Well, you probably would have experienced "hell on earth"-as might your son....if he keeps it up! ;-) But it is my understanding from the Bible that if a person truely repents and changes his ways and thinking, then yes, the Lord will let him through the "pearly gates".....just tell your son, "His eyes are always watching...." it worked for me! ;-)

if you are truly sorry and repent in your actions then yes. if you are a decent guy but call yourself an arrogant bastard then perhaps you need to repent by showing your decency

Yes, anyone who honestly repents will go to heaven! If you just repent to go to heaven, sorry it won't work! I know folks who live their live the way they wish with the intent to repent just before they die in order to go to heaven. So sorry, God and Christ are smarter than that! It just won't work that way! You can not con your way into heaven!

You can repent but God will only forgive if He knows in your heart that you are truly sorry and that you've tried to stop. Bad breath and farts aren't sinful, just stinky.
