Today was the first day of college, and my first class was math. After class, my name wasn't called, so I went to the teacher, and found out I went the wrong day! I signed up for Tuesdays and Thursdays, yet for some dumb reason I forgot and thought I was for Monday's and Wednesdays. So I wasted the whole day (takes a long time to get there, long class, and a long time back) in the wrong class! And now I have to go again tomorrow and am really not in the mood. Have you ever done anything really dumb like that?

It's not my first time at college, I mean my first day of a new semester. Jane hehe that does sound like what I did. Lizzz, that's hilarious, kind of makes me feel better by comparison :P I'm glad everything is going so well for you Aria. :)

I lost my schedule the first day at college, I think my mother took it out of my purse to read it, and did not put it back. I had to go to the office, and get a copy, they were fairly nice about it, but I was so embarrassed. Thank goodness, I already had pruchased my books. In college, no schedule, no books.
I did not do this one, but I was sitting next to the person. One of the professors asked her how she liked college, and she answered it was just high school with ash trays. Oh, goodness, wanted to crawl in a hole and die. The person later got a job with the prof,[ she taught microbiology,] and the girl made agar-agar and the culture plates used in class. And saw the prof socially, they were both religiously inclined, but oh my! How to ruin a career before it even starts.

How's this? I got my days mixed up for a final exam in my senior year. I woke up on Wednesday morning, planning to study for my exam the next day, when I looked in the schedule to verify the time. OMG! the exam took place on Tuesday. I couldn't graduate without that grade. Fortunately, I was able to contact the Professor and explain. Also, fortunately, I already had an A up to that point, he knew I'd been to every class and turned in all assignments on time. He understood and let me take the exam in his office right then.

Cody, absolutely. Oh, I am so old at 42 that I could go on for days about stupid stuff I did in college. You are not alone, my friend. Take it in stride and in ten years you'll laugh and tell others. I like to tell the story of "Night of the DeLorean" and "Day of the Crushed Knee". My college highlights besides a bunch of utter snobs who came into a restaurant and I was their hostess. They were bucks and I was grind your way through on a wing and a prayer. They were so polite about oh wow so you are going to there too? Cool, let's get together knowing they didn't mean a damn bit of it. Oh well, who's flying high now? Me. Got my own company, answer to myself, live in Vegas while they slowly whither away in nowhereville and the business is growing itself. I like to get on this forum but I have rings under my eyes. Cody, I finally made it. Never say never and never feel stupid. You are fine the way you are. You'll be great!

Have I ever! I am queen of mistakes and what you did is not dumb, just a little err. You'll laugh about it just as I laugh about many of my dingbat moves.(not all, though)Here's where I'd make the next... I'd probably stay home tomorrow, leaving a really bad first day impression on the teacher, lol!

Yes one Sunday I woke up as usual 5 am, took shower dressed-up and went to the bus stop, after waiting for an hour I realize that's Sunday, that's why the company bus never turned-up..

Frankly, i came to school couple times on a holiday, when there was no lessons. I felt so dumb too, standing with my bookbag in front of an empty school.

You created your own mess and now you have to clean it up to keep from shooting yourself in the foot. I have had dreams like that though—usually showing up for a finalexam in a class that I had forgotten that I signed up for.

something similar, after work i went to class on a day when there were no classes scheduled - and i had the academic calendar in my schoolbag. mind you, i work way uptown in manhattan & my school is all the way in brooklyn. i could've kicked myself in the a$$
P.S. TO RUFUS, HE SAID IT WAS THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES, SO HE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T GO YESTERDAY.
SO WHO'S THE DUMB FU(K NOW?
