Nasgul (I'm pretty sure that's what the ringwraiths were called in The Lord of the Rings books - not sure it was mentioned in the movie) or Midnight, Spooky, Inky, Blacky, Shadow, Jinx, Ebony?

I think a cat's name should reflect it's personality. The last black cat I had I named Yao. Other cats I had names were Zeb, Tykey, Tim, Mew-Zic, Kitten-O, and Mewbert.

Name it "Asura". Asura is a sankrit word for "demon", and ofcourse Demon is always asociated with blackness. Or name her "Kali", read=" Kulee", she is the Goddess that deveated the ultimate enemy when no other Gods r powerful enough to beat it. Or maybe name her "Bastet", the ancient egyptian Cat Goddess. I named my male cat "Nebucatnezar The 2nd".

Usually when I see a black cat I'll nickname them. A few was Salem, Midnite, Shadow, etc. But cats names should match their personality.
