Can't we all just get along? Learn to love? Laugh? Tolerate each other? Accept ones views, for exactly that,...their views? Treat each other as we would like to be treated?
Not a single one of us is better than the other. And not a single one of us has earned the right to judge one another.

These closed minded and unaccepting people that you are referring to are not TRUE Christians. My city's population is 65,000. 'Survey' says that 42,000 are Christians. All the Christian churches here have a total of 12,000 parishioners. So were are the other 30,000 Christians on Sundays? Just because a person says they're Christian doesn't mean that they know all about their religious faith and their churches rules. So please don't say MOST Christians are closed minded. Let's say the Christians you've come across are. That'll narrow it down.
But I definitely agree that many people say one thing and do another. I returned to the Catholic church 3 yrs ago. Two yrs ago I put a bumper sticker on my car saying "Got Jesus?" then later I added one that said "If you are in the dark, turn to the Son." One time I was very mean to a neighbor that I barely knew and she referred to my bumper stickers and asked why am I such a ***** yet advertise my faith. BOY!!! That got me thinking. I have added 2 more stickers but I have changed my anger and have more patience. There are people that talk about God and Jesus all the time yet they go home and beat their wives or kids. There is something wrong with them. I think they try to hide behind their faith and need help. Sorry the Christians that you've met are that way but there are lots that aren'.

Yes he did judge because he is GOD. Jesus accepts everyone who accepts him but he is not a pacifast if thats what you think. God hates sin. He loves the person,,,,enough to allow Jesus to die for you.
What you see is not as real as God. What you see should prove to you there is a God. If you try and tell me we just became without a creator then you need to go rethink some things. Ask any athiest how the whole universe came about to exist and I mean every galaxy, planet and star, also the ones still being created. Ask how the earth has one set speed it is to turn and one set speed to rotate around the sun. Also the sun is just at the right distance for life to be sustained here on earth which includes billions of diverse lifeforms (That according to athiests just popped out of nowhere or crawled out of the Ocean). Is it all just coincedence? Also ask them to get an empty mason jar and set it in their house and go back to the jar 20 or 30 years later or more if needed and see whats in it..........you know what would be in it? Still nothing. You have to have a Creator and it scares athiests.
Also for the big bang theory supporters........where did the material that went bang come from and the energy to make it go BANG? I'll tell you, God created it and he may have made a "BIG BANG" out of it to put it where he wanted it I won't dispute that because the Universe is still expanding. All in all the athiests have too many questians to answer themselves that the Bible already explains. I'd rather believe there is a God and die and if there isn't I will then lose nothing but if there is a God and Creator and I've argued to people he isn't then I lose alot. Think it over friend. Are you really sure about denying God? The evidence is against you. The Bible, the only Holy written word of God explains all things past, present and future. There is no excuse for not having the knowledge, it's there.

When I was young, i was taught about the character of God. Interestingly, one of the character is, God is logic.
As a young boy I asked, 'Sir, what do u mean God is Logic?'
To that, my Sunday School teacher replied, 'Question like "Can God make a rock so big not even God could lift it? " is one example of illogical question. So, dealing with illogical question, the understanding of God does not apply."
"In this world, there are many more illogical question. When face with it, pray for wisdom to understand the different, that is serious question to know God, or ro ridicule Christian, and react accordingly.'
So my pal, No I will not be closed minded. But neither am I in position to answer such question.
And further more, there may be some Christian that will point out your mistake, perhaps they want to guide you to spell properly. But I won. For my English is not "podwerful" enough.
Cheers,

Your'e in a pit hell dude! Quit the juice! To give you a clear thought of all your doubts, God is not called as Such because He is Such & there are some freakin thoughts in which you think about now, that God & only Him could answer! Get the point?
So no matter whom ever answers precedes & follows this answer of mine is, God is the only Who could answer all your doubts in your life! Maybe you should start building a relationship with Him then ask your freakin questions, & maybe...just maybe He will answer your questions, one by one...personally...
Before i finish, you mentioned the Bible, remember the verses wherein Jesus was tempted by the devil to use His Godly powers while He was fasting? Don't you think you are making a similar scene here? Quit doubting or you might be the devil soon.

Yes, God could lift any rock.....but this is still a good question for many Chrisitans to think about. You speak of the things Jesus spoke about and wanted Christians to learn. He did teach love and respect for others, but at the same time, we are not to be weak. We are to stand for love and the goodness of the Lord, and do not waiver in that. We are not to judge others...but at the same time, if one tribe was trying to create genocide against another, what would Jesus want us to do?

just my humble opinion. Jesus' teachings is true, but the disciples who interpret, and express it might not be able to represent it in the perfect way as how Jesus would like to express it. No doubt, people who proclaim they are close to jesus are usually the one who condemn others first, thinking they know best. But human are not perfect, we make wrong interpretation, we make wrong judgement and wrong actions. That's why we are sinners. No one is perfect or sinless in the eye of God.That's why God send his only son to die for us, so that although we remain as sinner on earth, we are sinless when we go to heaven, only through the grace of Jesus. Look at the teaching of jesus, but not the person who deliver it, just as we would study the knowledge of the textbook, but not judge the knowledge based on the action/appearances/delivery of the lecturers.

I match your long diatribe with a cut-n-paste from my web site=
Q. Are we, or are we not, supposed to point out error in other peoples beliefs
or teachings? Not even question them?
A. When corrected, the person being corrected usually retorts with the Bible
quote from 1 Thessalonians 5: 19. "Quench not the Spirit,".
It is sad that they do not read down to verse 21 to find "Prove all things"!
WE ARE TO BE VIGILANT, AND COMPARE ALL BELIEFS AND TEACHINGS
WITH THAT WHICH IS TAUGHT IN THE BIBLE!
We may "counter" with;
1 John 4: 1 "Try them..."
Romans 16: 17 "Mark them..."
Ephesians 5: 11 "Have no fellowship.."
1 Thessalonians 3: 6 "Withdraw thyself.."
2 John 10: 1 "Receive them not.."
2 Thessalonians 3: 13, 14 "Have no company with them.."
Thessalonians 3: 10 "Reject them.."
2 Corinthians 6: 17 "Be ye separate.."
Revelation 18: 4 "Come out.."
2 Corinthians 11: 13 "False Apostles transform themselves.."
2 Timothy 4: 2-4 "Reprove, Rebuke, Exhort.."
1 Peter 5: 8,9 " Be sober, Vigilant.."
Galatians 1: 8,9 "We or an angel from heaven preach.."
2 John 7: 8 "Many deceivers confess not.."
1 John 3-7 "If you walk in the light-we.."
Deuteronony 22: 9-11 "Do not sow diverse seed.."
Ezekiel 4: 3 "Have nothing to do with.."
Nehemiah 9:2 "separate selves from all .."
2 Corinthians 14, 15 " Be not unequally yoked.."
Matthew 7: 20 "Beware false prophets.."
Another comment from the person whose false teachings are being pointed out
is often from Matthew 7: 1 "Judge not, that ye be not judged."!
Let us go down to read Matthew 7: 5 ~ It clearly states that after you get yourself
"straightened out" you should indeed correct others!
We are plagued with false teachers. There are many on the
television screen being watched by millions.
It is sad to realize that it is they that the general public think are the true Christians
and that their twisted thoughts are what we believe and Christianity is all about.

Why are you asking this question? Does it do anything for you? Does it help in deciding your final destination? Does it do anything for you? No. So why are you asking it? There is no point to this question. It is asked by the people who will do anything to bring down Christians.
Let me start off by asking YOU a question. Even if God could make a rock so heavy that even He can't lift it, why would He? It makes no sense. He'd have one incredibly huge rock sitting in the middle of the universe doing nothing. It makes no sense to us why He would do it. Let me ask you this. Why would you use your life savings to buy a house if you are going to let it deteriorate? If you're going to make something, it has to be for a reason. It has to have a purpose. In this case, a huge rock in the middle of the universe makes no sense whatsoever. God is smarter than you think. God wouldn't make something that would make Himself look bad. But anyways, let's get down to the question.
You know, surprising as it may seem, God can't do a lot of things. He cannot sin, He can't lie, and He can't tolerate sin. And yes, God cannot make a rock so heavy that even He can't lift it. But why can't He make such an object? Well, I don't know. I'm not in the position to ask Him. See, asking Him to make a rock so big that even He can't lift it is called testing Him. In the Bible, it says that we should not test the Lord. By asking God this question, you are asking Him to show you how powerful He is. God doesn't have to show you His great power. God doesn't have to show you anything. Who are you compared to God? God is holy, almighty, and powerful. You, on the other hand, are sinful, weak, and miniscule. You are telling God, "God, if you're so powerful, then let's see You at work. If You can do it, then I'll believe." You are pushing God. But do you think God cares if you choose not to believe? I mean, of course He wants everybody to be saved, and He cares about all His creation, but if you don't want to listen, then He's not going to run after you and beg you to believe. You have chosen your destiny. Remember, God gave us freedom of choice. It's your choice to believe or not.

I'm not attempting to do any of that....but don't pin it all on the "Christiain side"......read some of the questions that warrant these responses.......there's plenty of non-Christians that do all of that in their questions.....so is it right for them and not for us simply because they have no supreme moral law to follow? I don't judge or jump to conclusions....but that doesn't mean that i'll be accepting of lifestyles and beliefs that I feel are opposite from what the Bible teaches me. I'm not a member of the Ku Klux Klan....i'm not gonna go burn down an abortion clinic....i'm not going to do any kind of hate crimes.....but i don't agree with abortion or homosexuality (i picked those two since they seem to be the controversial issues that pop up on here a lot)...and that makes me neither intolerant or unaccepting
