Do you mean Native Americans? If so look at it like this- You and everyone in your family at one time lived a certain way htat way good enough to not change drastically because to you and your it worked well. Now think someone came along a befriended you, judged you in your home and told you that everything about you bad and forced you out of your home. They then march you to concentration camps with people claiming to help you, but only help you change itno what they think is right. Then they take you down and record evry time you have childeren to know know many of you are left. Jews have where not treated as bad for as long. The Native peoples of North America have laid witness to their holocaust, with much more effecinticy than that of the jews. Our Genocide is still being recorded, the Jews are remembering when theirs was attempted.
Now think about being forced to live like, and accept the very people and ideologies that have planned and actively partcipate in the genocide of your family, heritage, and relatonship with God. How would you feel?

Odly I find that Indians are the most conscious of race but rarely the most judgemental of it. I think they're just raised with the belief that different parts of a society are meant to be segregated. They don't think there's anytghing wrong with being of another caste just that they shouldn't mix.

is it so? well i dont think so.

well let me tell u that i have more than a dozen freinds who are Indians and who are mostly hindus, apart fom my other freinds. neither i found them as rascist nor did they find me a terrorist (me being a muslim) . we have really good chemistry with each other. infact we all wonder why stupid people all over the world have to fight over race and religion.

i really have fun with them esp during fests and they are always there for my fests. infact they celebrated my National day and i just was a part of their National day too(15th aug).

whatever we never had any problem with each other and i assure u we will never have any problems in future too.

Indians from India? I don't know how race-conscious they are but today I went to the store and bought a bunch of stuff on my credit card and the clerk scribbled in the box for the signature on my behalf when I forgot. I know him very well and I know I can trust him. I don't think that's cuz he's Indian, and I don't think he's nice to me and looks out for me cuz I'm white! lol
BTW, I've found that Indians are very friendly, helpful and generous people, even with those of us who aren't Indian.

What do you mean by race conscience? Are you implying that Indians might be rascist because if so then you are calling yourself one since you are Indian as well.

First, explain what you are trying to say, only then will others answer your question properly.

Well, if people come into your world and do horrid things to you and
committed genocide on many tribes and came real close to destroying all of you. Hmmmmmmm, how would you feel. When there 15 million of you and you were reduced to 2000 or Less, how would you feel? When entire cultures were completely destroyed, how would you feel?

Yes, I tend to agree with that. I once had an Indian gentleman ask why black people were allowed into Canada?

I would agree with that - its a remnant of the Hindu Caste System that was used as a way of keeping the poor people down and the rich corrupt "higher" castes in power.
