On Nero 7 what do I select if I want to burn a movie from my comp to DVD ...?

so I can watch it on my DVD player and playstation 2? Is it the SVCD I need to select ?

SVCD is for Super Video CD. Not many DVD players can play that format, especially players made more than 2 years ago.

I'm not sure about Nero 7, but in Nero 6 you could launch Nero StartSmart and pick from a list of options under the Photo and DVD menu. The option you should select depends on the format of your movie on the hard drive. If it's already in DVD format and it will fit on a single-layer 4.7GB DVD, then just open Nero Burning ROM. If it won't fit, you will need to use Nero Recode. There are other utilities as well if you want to create menus, chapters, etc. for movies you've made from scratch.
