there's this guy i grew up with even before we could walk. me, him, and his sis were really close when we were little. then we got into a huge fight before he left for a vacation and after he came back he had hit puberty and we ignored each other for a couple of years. then i got sick of it and began talking to him again. now everytime he starts a conversation with me or does something nice to me, i get a tingly and special feeling and my heart feels like it swells and i get so happy. i'm not sure if i like him for him or i'm in love with the illusion of liking a guy i've known for a long time? i've never dated before but i've had crushes. but i'm always self conscious around him even though i've never been before.

I think you should persue it as much as you both wish....I broke up with a girl I loved when we were only 15, now after 35 years and really a lifetime has past us by...she contacted me and we are thinking of getting back together, we are both single now, and still love each other....so we are going to give it a try after all these years, we never knew how much we cared for each other...dont let that happen to you.....

At your age, it's very normal .... and I may dare and say that this could be your first love ... not the one ... but the first real feeling of affection towards a guy. I say first and not one, coz you're not totally mature, you still don't know yourself, so just relax ... enjoy the butterflies in your tummy .... if he makes a move that would be nice, if he doesn't then just leave it as it is ....
