I'm seeing a fare around $454 right now. I would keep checking each day over the next several days. Be aware that many people will be buying tickets for that time period very soon (if they haven't already). Thus, fares may increase as we get closer to Thanksgiving.

Here are a few websites you can try. Orbitz allows you to do a search of airfares on the day BEFORE and the day AFTER whatever dates you give it. This is very helpful in checking out multiple dates at once.

I like sidestep because it is user friendly and shows you all the sites it is searching on your behalf.

Hotwire is sometimes good, sometimes not. You will occassionally get a good deal... but beware. They don't tell you the airline you'll be flying out on until you actually buy the ticket.

Good luck and enjoy visiting your family!!!

I'm not seeing any flightson Thanksgiving weekend for under about $460 right now. However, if you fly into Seattle the following weekend, you can find tickets for around $315.

Seattle is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Portland. I know that would require a car rental, but I'm sure you could work out some kind of package. You could celebrate the holiday a week late too.

Good luck!

The cheapest I see are around 440. Try tomorrow--airfares are cheapest on Tuesdays and then get more expensive throughout the week. Monday is the most expensive day to buy a plane ticket. I have had reasonable luck making bids on priceline. Good luck!

Check online, Tuesday and Wed flights are the cheapest. Also you can look for them more than 2 weeks or less than 12 hours. Flights that are not full have tickets that go cheap.
