Do you consider yourself to be a good person?why?After you finshed answer this.Now think about the ten commandments. Have you ever break one of them?"IF" you die not where you gonna go?Heaven?Hell?You don't Know?"IF "you face God in the Day of Judgment day, Are you gonna be guilty or innocent?Where you gonna spent eternity?Is this concerning you?

Most people consider themselves to be a good person. However why be just good when you can be GREAT!! Most people will downplay the ten commandments....at least I don't kill for example...yet will lust after somebody...which in essence is committing Adultry. I really think that there are 3 types of people. Those who don't believe and are sitting on the fence, Those who accept Jesus and want a relationship with him, And those who try to live each moment as Christ would have them do.....just like what you are doing......You are being GREAT rather than just GOOD!!
To answer your question personally....Yes, I am a lier, adulter, and a murderer......Yet through the Grace of Jesus, all will be washed away. Do you think that evangelizing on a Yahoo Answer sit will motivate anyone to really think about Eternity?

am I a good person? well in the words of Christ, "What man is good?"

I've broken all the commandments in one way or another. I'm guilty.

If I died now I *believe* I would go to heaven or purgatory. I have been to confession and done penance. I have since gone to mass and taken the Eucharist. So as far as I know, I am in a state of grace. However, the judgement is up to the Lord.

As far as facing the Lord, we are all guilty. The only thing that saves us is the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross.

What concerns me is life. I do not focus on what happens after I die, because I am living right now. If I can live the right way now, then life is good. Heaven is here. If I live wrong, then I will surely know hell. As I've known before. It could only get worse.

Personally, I try to make an effort to overcome my pride, and pray/attend for/to others and their needs. What is the point of praying for myself? God knows what I needs. I speak to him everyday. Sometimes I ask for things. Better to plead for others. If I go to hell because I spent my time praying for others, that only shows they weren't praying for me. Which probably means, no one is praying for anyone. Which I know not to be true.

I do consider myself to be a good person.
I do whatever I can to be considerate of others. In most cases putting others ahead of myself. Been doing that for two years now and nearly ruined my life. I treat all others that I meet as I would want to be treated, well to the best of my ability, I will admit that I am far from perfect.

The ten commandments I believe are outdated, and that the golden rule kinda takes its place, but we'll do the commandments anyway. More fun that way. I broke:
Called the name of God in vain,
Dishonored my mother / father,
Lied,
Coveted after another,
I suppose steal, but thats sorta a technicallity.
And finally I worked on Sunday. Retail kinda demands that part.

I vote Heaven, yes I messed up on a bunch of stuff, but God isn't one to say that if you strike out once you're doomed for ever. If He did, He'd be awefully lonely up there. We all mess up, and if we are sorry for what we did and do our best in life, I dare say that we'll end up heading to Heaven.

I think I'll be guilty of the things I did, I won't deny them either. But I still say that God or Jesus will let me off anyway. They are good guys, very loving, careing, and forgiving. They understand the world far better than we do and I think they allow for some bending and all before they send someone to Hell.

Am I conserned? Not at all, I have not a worry about it in my mind. I know that if I do my best in life, and work as hard as I can for them, there is little doubt where I go. The same goes for all beings, of all walks of life, of any religion in my opinion. Do good, do your best, and do it often, and you'll be doing fun stuff in Heaven with the head being in the universe.

I bet He wins in bowling though. Oh well, still fun to play. :P

I'm an atheist. I consider myself an extremely good person. Why? I always try to be caring towards others. I am vegan so am also caring towards animals. I give to many different charities though some are christian, just depends on their message. I don't give to christian org.s that promote their religion just some that are out to really help ppl. I go out of my way to do what I can to make ppl's lives better and also I am never rude unless I have to be, unless my christian neighbors are attacking my children and me with hateful words of going to hell, though we have always been as nice as we can be to them.
I won't face god on your judgement day cuz I think that's silly as I am a logical person. Like any other animal on this earth, I will die and not exsst anymore, period. It's hard to accept the truth but billions of ppl do not accept this very obvious truth.

I consider myself about average, because I am as best I can tell. I break 1 or more of the 10 commandments daily. When I die, I will go to the grave most likely. If I face god, I suppose I'll say "nice to finally meet you. people on earth keep making up a bunch of crap about you. Wanna buy me a beer?". I'll spend eternity dead. I don't like the idea, but neither does it keep me awake at night.

I think I am a decent/good person. I probably break the ten commandments everyday... I dont thingk I know alll of them. I believe that I will have eternal life... whenthis body dies I will be reincarnated.... I think that if I was face to face with god he would high five me and say...... dang you had a fun life..... and i am not worried about where I go when I die... as long as I have fun when im living why should I worry about something that is so far off...

This is an excellent survey and I commend your request that we be honest. I am saved from perdition by the Grace of God and that alone. No other way would keep me from Lucifer's realm. By Grace I was saved through FAITH and not of works........Ephesians. I consider myself a good person as to the daily function on Earth. I was raised to be respectful. I say please and thank you. I say excuse me. I hold doors open and respect the dignity and wisdom of my elders. But I am a SINNER. I could escort old ladies across the street all day every day and then have to see Lucifer every day after I die, ok? But no, I am good in the works department but I honestly repent a goodly bit. I need to say my apologies for awful thoughts, pettiness, occasional greed, egocentrsim from time-to-time~basically the human condition. In that I am NOT GOOD. I am sigfficient to live and function here on terra firma but I need my God to guide me, to forgive me and to ultimately let me come in when my weary body can go no more in this world. When I face God on judgement day, I will be in the recording book that has been kept for all souls that graced Earth. My name will be duly checked off. My sins will be shown to me maybe like a movie of my life (hopefully it goes really fast, oh please and not in front of other souls) and then the recording angel will be asked if my name is the Lamb's Book of Life. It is. Thank you God. I love you my Master, His Son my Savior and the Helper indwelt into me. It's a great system, isn't it? Thank you for the survey and may all be honest and forthright. I have committed many sins. But I must try to make it right and repent. Plus, there is Yahshua up there always fielding sins and letting God know we knew we were wrong have repented. And please don't think I believe it's okay to just run around like a maniac, repent and it all be okay. No, that's not me. I just know I was born into sin and into sin I will die. My saving Grace will prevail after my soul leaves it's shell here someday.

yes im a good person but sometimes im tempted to do something which is not good in GOd sight. yeah about the ten commandments im trying all to keep. if ill die i hope ill gonna in heaven... though my sins are like scarlet and sands of the sea i know and i believe if i confess and commit my life to HIm, surely HIS mercy and grace are sufficient for my weaknesses coz with out HIM its impossible to be a perfect. total connection to GOD, that makes me alive and strengthen no matter what cost and trials and temptation will be... GOD said carry your cross and follow me, and i know how hard to be HIs follower but it is a joy to walk with HIM... JEsus said "If you love me keep my commandment"

Yes,I consider myself to be a good person. Yes,I have broken a commandment,but repented I will go to heaven.Judgment Day -innocent.I will spend eternity with my Heavenly Father.I don't worry about it.

you directed this questions towards christians. christianity means we know we cannot live excatly by the ten commandments that is why we trust jesus and accept him as our saviour, its the only way to get to heaven. am i a good person? that is up to my king. but i just know that i try to live a life to reflect the love that jesus has for us. when i face god on judgement day i will be able to hold my head up knowing i accepted his son and believed on him that died for me. all god will see on my judgement day is the blood of jesus. he will only see his perfect son, he will not see my sinful soul. this is why i will spend my eternity in heaven.
