Here we go again with scam busting. Firstly, the separation of oxygen and hydrogen requires energy whether the energy is supplied by electricity (electrolysis) or by some other means such as "high compression nano technology". It seems like BS to me, but I can be persuaded if the process is reproducible in my lab, or at any major university lab. The term "high compression" might translate to some sort of focused acoustic wave implosion which is specified on a nano scale. While this idea works for nitromethane (I wrote a paper on the lattice dynamics of nitromethane as a graduate student and I later learnt that the US Army used my results to model shock wave propagation), water is fully oxidized and is not a fuel in the same sense as nitromethane is. Therefore external energy must be supplied. Secondly, adding water to petrol creates a host of problems including the entropy of mixing and the absorption of any energy from combustion by the high heat of vaporisation of water. Third, adding pure oxygen to gasoline in an automobile gas tank does not promote safety. I would feel about as safe as the astronauts on the Challenger space shuttle. Fourth, energy can be extracted by burning hydrogen with oxygen, however the energy obtained cannot exceed the energy used to separate the oxygen and hydrogen. There is no net gain.

This one is laughable - scientist patents the idea (which reveals to all how it is done, and in return he has the right to market his invention), then he goes on to say that the process is "secret". You can't have it both ways.

Hydrogen and oxygen give off a specific amount of energy when they combine, and the same energy is required to break them apart (actually more when you take into account entropy).

Using nano-technology (very small machines) will not solve our automobile energy problems (the volumes of fuel are much higher than a tiny nano-technology device can deliver).

This guy is a scam.

Well, Probably convert the Water to a Vapor, using a Device Similar to my Avatar. Then, use Magnetic Energy to Seperate the Oxygen from the Hydrogen. It already Converts Regular Pump Gasoline into Propane. The Multi-Color Flame is Proof Positive of that.

Sounds to me like BS. If, in the unlikely event that he has managed to breach the laws of thermodynamics, then more power to him.
