Hell I would take any help! I don't care if they were undocumented or not....I would take the help for me and my families sake! Its horrible, how some in this country despise illegals, yet they are there doing the dirty work in New Orleans, for little or NO pay....its pure hyprocrisy!
Please read the link you will find it interesting

"WASHINGTON - A new group says immigrant laborers are stealing coveted hurricane reconstruction jobs from victims of last year's storms, a claim that brings the bitter national debate over illegal immigration to the Gulf Coast.
Members of the group, Choose Black America, want to stop the flow of illegal immigrants, who they say are more willing than local residents to work for low wages and live in substandard conditions.
"Companies were awarded billions of tax dollars dedicated to rebuilding the region but are evading immigration and other laws designed to protect American workers - out of sheer greed," conservative black columnist Armstrong Williams, a member of the coalition, said. "There are many people who want to come back to New Orleans, but there are no opportunities for them," he said. "
I'd rather hire the Americans whose lives were already devastated by having their city destroyed.

Maybe you should think about what you want to say and ask one question. Right now, it doesn't make sense.
If the city is contaminated, everybody including me will be gone.
If someone rebuilt the house in a contaiminated site on their own, they can keep it.

Its really crazy, so much recontruction to be done, lots of jobs to be had, and the only ones willing are the illegals.
The "jobs Americans won't do" and the "jobs Americans don't want" together with the "jobs that are lacking for Americans" are so contradictory. Try and make sense of it!

If my home were destroyed and it would probably be because the illegals had gone on a rampage and were looting and burning our nation.
Then, I would simply defend myself against them.

if the city was contaminated i say go get the prisoners from the closest federal lock up and give the guards suits to protect them and send the convicts in to do the job. keep the illegals out of the country until they can get a citizenship

There are plenty of American workers that need that job. I would not let illegal aliens work on my house.

Cheap Labor?~
~AT WHOSE EXPENSE~
Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?
Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage,
Consumers don't want expensive produce,
Government will tell you that Americans don't want the jobs
But the bottom line is cheap labor.
"The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie.
There is no such thing as "cheap labor."
Take, for example, an illegal Mexican who sneaks in here with his
wife and five children.
He takes a job for five or six dollars an hour.
At that wage with six dependents he pays no income tax, yet at the
end of the year if he files income tax he gets an "earned income credit"
of up to $3,200 free. [[He, & his family are not citizens of this country]]
He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent,
He qualifies for food stamps.
He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.
His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.
He requires bilingual teachers and books.
He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.
If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled they qualify for SSI.
Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for medicare.
All of this is at that taxpayers expense.
He doesn't have to worry about car insurance, life insurance, or
homeowners insurance.
Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed
material.
He cannot be fired, harassed, or sued.
He and his family receive the equivalent of $20 to $30 an hour in
benefits.
Working Americans are lucky to have $5 or $6 an hour left after
paying their bills and his.

You're Referring To New Orleans
Alot Of People Are PISSED OFF Because
ILLEGAL ALIENS Are Doing The Work
Instead Of DISPLACED RESIDENTS Of That City
I Would Be (Pissed Off) Too If I Lived There
