I am not much of a baker, but I bought a box strussel pack and prepared it like it said on the back. I guess it came out as good as it could be coming from a box, but is there something I can add (sugar, brown sugar?) to make it sweeter and how much of it do I put?

If you want something that has no calories, fat, or cholesterol, Splenda is a good choice. It comes in regular sugar and broen sguar.

Make either on of these and drizzle it over the top of your strussel

Raspberry Sauce
Serving Size : 2 cups

2 pints raspberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Combine raspberries and sugar in a saucepan. Cook until raspberries are broken down, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and strain through a chinois to eliminate seeds.

Blueberry Sauce
1 Cup

1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup blueberries
1 tbsp butter

In a saucepan mix together water, sugar, & cornstarch. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring until thickened. Add blueberries and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add butter and stir until melted. Do not allow to cook too long or sauce will become too thick & need to be watered down.

This is a trial and error thing. You could use honey, molasses, sugar, or brown sugar. I would recommend a teaspoon of whatever and then decide if you need more.
