Please be rational to explain it.
I just came across religious people talking "science" and their faith.
for example: cause of tumor and diease, cause of bad luck, cause of human disaster and etc.

If religious people accept science, why they have doubt about evolution, embryonic research, medicine (using the "power" of praying), believing in miracle and etc.

Dependence on religion and all other supernatural beliefs is crippling the US in the science world. We are the laughing stock of the rest of the science world because of the god superstition that is grown.

The evangelical Christians, of which our fear(full)less leader is a member, believe that the earth is only 6000 years old (1000 years for each day the bible says God created the earth), that fossils being found have only been there since the great flood, that the grand canyon was caused by the great flood, that there were dinosaurs on the ark (though they were babies because, duh, adults would have sunk the ark), that dinosaurs still walk among us today, that evolution is merely lies designed to mislead people from biblical truth, and many more.

How on earth can we be taken seriously as the leader of the world in science if we (a collective we, since they ARE the majority) keep saying crap like this?

You're a Christian and don't believe all of this? SPEAK OUT! Let your Christian brothren know they are wrong... plain and simple... wrong.

Only in some sects of of different religious ideas.
The idea of the big bang and the idea of creationism are so close that you would have to do some fine hair splitting to make them sound very different for one thing. Both have two actions in common . Action and movement. bet the resulting noise was the same.
Science is looking for physical answers as to how things got to be the way they are and how it was done.
Religion relies on faith that their is something greater than ourselves that made everything for a reason.

Is religion a real tumor of science?

A few Uninformed Christians might think so-- but most accept Science for what it is! Research, Repeatable Experiments, and WONDERFUL GREAT Results.

science and religion do not mix.

science seeks to prove everything beyond any doubt

religion asks for faith in things which have no proof.

to a believer no proof is needed, to a skeptic no amount of proof is enough.

Definitely. They are not compatible because science is based on facts and rational thinking...religion is based on faith in fantasy.
