my mom was fired from her job a while ago and as far as i can tell hasent been looking for work even though money is tight. how can i respectfuly tell my mom to get off her *** and get a job?

sometimes parents just need a swift kick in the *** to get the moving. try sitting down with her and talking about it.

I don't think there is anyway. She is the parent, obviously aware of the family finances. It really isn't your place. If you are worried about money, maybe get a job yourself....lead by example.

Seriously if you are worried about her, or money, sit and talk with her and tell her your concerns. If you are kind and gentle, she may respond positively.

I have to wonder how old you are and what you are contributing to the household. anyway the longer she takes to get back into the work force the more difficult it will be for her, just sit down with her and let her know your concerned and maybe she'll share her plans with you.

Why worry about it? She is a grown woman she knows what she wants ..let her get her own job in her own time...

Maybe look around for jobs that are open and mention it to her casually.
