It's funny, "steak comes from one cow and hamburger come from all cows". the truth is that all meat have bacterias which die on high temperature. this bacterias live only on the surface of the meat, so it is OK to have the steak NOT well done in the middle as long as it is cooked properly on the outer part. But ground beef should be cooked truly since the meat and bacterias on it is all mixed.

I think it's more unhealthy to eat well-done beef if it's grilled due to the charred outside that some believe to contribute to cancer.
If your beef is from a certified source, such as a supermarket or butcher, any temperature you prefer is good.
Burgers should be done to medium well unless you grind the beef yourself...a burger is regarded as the most dangerous cut of meat cause some meatcutters might cut the burger meat on the same board as the chickens they just cut..eeew!
hope it helps!

No, there's nothing in how long you cook beef that changes how healthy it is. That having been said. You should only eat well done Hamburger. A steak only comes from ONE cow. If that cow is sick or something, they won't send it out for slaughtering. HOWEVER!!! Ground beef comes from ALL the cows. If one cow is sick, itgets chopped up and then ALL the ground beef is contaminated. Pop One intestine and ALL the hamburger has S-hit in it. And All hamburger does have S-hit in it. So cook it well. nothing worse than eating raw Cow dung.

Well-done = a plate full of carcinogens. I try to get medium-rare or medium-well. It's best to avoid red meat most of the time though because it can lead to colon cancer, I try to stick with chicken, if it's not completely done, the worst that can happen is salmonella food poisoning which is a s***load better than colon cancer.

Not really. Beef is the one meat, if clean, that can even be eaten raw.

Actually, it's healthier to avoid red meat...but, being from Texas, that's impossible.
