I believe that life begins at conception. I believe that an abortion is killing a child, regardless of the circumstances of conception. I would support abortion in cases where the mother's life is in danger.
I am a Christian but my views on this were in place before I was an active Christian.

As a Woman who is unable to conceive a child and simply cannot afford to adopt a child, I feel adoption is wrong, and in the eyes of God, it is a sin..... I feel there are so many other people in the United States alone who would be very willing to give a child a good, loving home...I know I would.... it isn't the unborn childs fault it was created and being carried in a womans womb.... I watche a program once on television about this couple who wanted a child...well they become pregnant and the woman had tests run to make sure the baby was going to be "NORMAL" and the baby, unborn was said to have paaausey, so she aborted the baby.....How wrong is that... She had t have the "Perfect" baby.... well she got it, and i hope she is happy with aborting her other child, but i am totally aganist abortion... And if anyone out there reads this and is wanting to give their unborn child a good home, please contact me.... I will gladly adopt the child and give it a wonderful loving home.... God Bless

I am torn with this topic. Rape and incest, as said earlier, is a definate ok for an abortion.
What bother's me the most about this topic is that the girl is mostly held responisble, for "opening her legs".
Personally I think you should only be having sex if you and your partner and serious about one and other.
A girl or a guy going around humping everything that moves doesnt deserve a child but I dont think those types of people should be excused from something that serious.
On a side note, I also dont think that the government or any religion should have any sway over the right to have an abortion.

Abortion is the business of the woman who chooses it and those she decides to involve and no one else's. The government's involvement should only be in licensing physicians who offer induced abortion as an option.
Those who believe otherwise have every right to do so and to avoid abortion for themselves, but have no right whatsoever to decide for others. Whether another woman's reason is risk to her life, a hopelessly defective fetus, or what some want to see as "convenience" , it's not the right or duty of others to intervene.
Without abortion, more children, real children, would be at risk for abuse or neglect. The adoption issue is a smokescreen. It's a viable choice for some, but the truth is if that newborn is not perfect and the right skin color, it may never be adopted.

I found out I was pregnant some months back and it was because it was a mistake, the condom broke so what was I to do, I was in school, stayed with my aunt, didn't have a job, and I've only known him for about a month so we was still getting to know each other. I think my biggest mistake was telling him that I was pregnant because first he told me he didn't think it was his, second he told me don't get an abortion, and then third he told me to do what I wanted. I didn't want to go through the drama and I think I did the right thing because six months later he's no where to be found and I'm ok with that I can learn from that mistake and keep moving!

An abortion is the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in, or caused by, its death. This can occur spontaneously as a miscarriage, or be artificially induced through chemical, surgical or other means. Commonly, "abortion" refers to an induced procedure at any point in the pregnancy; medically, it is defined as a miscarriage or induced termination before twenty weeks gestation, which is considered nonviable.
Your Baby’s Inheritance
Your baby is absolutely unique. That's because your pregnancy began with the joining of an egg and sperm, each with its own unique DNA. The union created a set of 46 chromosomes that determined all your baby's inherited characteristics at the moment of conception. Sex. Height. Hair. Eye color. Skin color. Facial features. Even personality traits. Your child is a distinctive blend of mom and dad. Her DNA will guide her development over the next nine months and beyond.
What’s a Neural Tube?
One of the most critical early developments in your baby's life is the neural tube, a groove that transforms itself into the brain, spinal cord, nervous system and backbone. Think of it as a hub for the amazing growth of your baby's intellectual and sensory life, which is budding even now. At the same time, she's developing her heart and a primitive circulatory system. The foundation for her bones, muscles, kidneys, lungs, intestines and digestive tract is in place.
By the end of the first month your baby's heart will be pumping about 150 beats per minute, about twice the adult rate. The right and left hemispheres of the brain will separate. Each hemisphere will perform specialized functions, but each will work together and complement the other throughout your baby's life.
First Expressions
It will be many weeks before an ultrasound can capture on film your baby's precious face. But her features are already beginning to form. Tiny eyespots will appear this month. Her ears and mouth will also begin to form. And she'll experience her first sensation. By five or six weeks, your baby will be able to feel a touch on her lips or nose.
Growth Update
You baby started out so small that she could be seen only with a microscope. During her first few weeks, she grew to 40 times that size. Thanks to this impressive growth spurt and another around week four, she'll be more than one-half inch long by the end of month one.

I had an abortion when i was younger because the pregnancy was a result of a rape but i still struggle with that decesion. I believe women should have the right to choose but should maybe learn more about the after effects of that choice. I would never abort another baby but i also would never want a woman to not have that choice.

i really dont think u want me answer on this but, here it goes. it is a womans body i do agree. They do have the right to do as they want to it. However i dont think its right for a person to play Gods work. I dont care if ur young dont have the money. There are other ways around abortion. There are people who cant have children. Who would give anything 2 be able to raise a baby/child. So before u think abortion think adoption.

That is such a hard question. I used to be somewhat pro choice, until I started having kids. I have a baby (my third child) with down syndrome and found out through amniocentesis while I was pregnant. One of the options I was given was abortion. I never even considered it, and love him more than anything. I can't even imagine knowing that I had deprived the world of such a sweet child.
I really and truly think that if you feel you can't care for a child the best option is adoption. I know a lot of people who want babies and can't have them. It seems such a waste to throw a child away when there are families just waiting to love them.
