Not at all. I didn't lose mine until I was 19. When you lose your virginity has nothing to do with being a loser or a winner. Unfortunately, with the amount of peer pressure these days to have sex is incredible and I don't think most parents understand this. The fact is that today tweens and teenagers and young adults are exposed to more sexual images on TV, the internet, as well as the music they listen to.

I remember being 13 years old and dating this 14 year old girl who kept pressuring me to sleep with her. I turned her down and she told the whole school. A lot of the "popular" kids made fun of me, but I knew I was doing the right thing. I wasn't ready. Even so, many of the other girls in class respected me for that.

I met a man the other day who was 27 years old and still a virgin and he was FAR from a loser. He had his own company, he had plenty of dates on the weekend, but he just hadn't met that ONE special woman that he wanted to share that with. There's no shame in it my man. It's no one's business if you're a virgin or not so if people ask you just tell them that "my business". It's no one's business but yours.

Keep that chin up high my man and remember that some of the biggest winners in our society today were virgins waaaaaay past age 18. :P

No No No No No - it is not a shame. Society sends really screwy messages. It is a good thing that you a virgin. Your virginity is something you should fiercely protect with your life! Do not give it away. Make a list of all the good things that can come of a sexual encounter or relationship (outside of marriage). Now, make a list of all the bad things that could come out of it. Let common sense protect you, dear!

Its not a shame, its a bloody miracle in this day. You hang onto it as long as you can! Believe me, getting rid of it, just to not be a virgin will give you nothing but bad memories but losing it when you know you are ready and the guy is special will give you nice memories for life as well as a healthy attitude towards sex. Everyone is ready at different ages. You do it when YOU are ready, not anyone else. Being smart and respecting yourself is cool.

No way! You should be proud of yourself- sex is overrated anyway, and your first time isn't going to be anything like what you see on TV. Never do it just for the sake of doing it- your virginity is a precious thing, and should only be given away to the right person under the right circumstances. Don't throw it away just to fit in with the crowd.

Let me tell you honey you are honored your still a virgin. Very rare these days with teens. hold on to it and never give in as long as you can. (Hopefully till marriage) You are one day going to make a special guy proud that he found you. At least you are clean. Stay strong and say no to sex! lol!!

NO! you SHOULD be a virgin when you are only 15! WTF, if you are so horny, wait until you're 18 and it is LEGAL. that's still young though, and if you get married someday, and your spouse is one of those people who thinks it's a sin to have sex outside of marriage, think of the guilt and shame you would bring to yourself

whoever thinks it is a shame is jumping the gun!
