No, if you have the maturity and respect for eachother what is five years. My husband is older by 10 1/2 years and we are going on 25 years of marriage. Good luck!

No those 5 yrs are nothing. I am 34 and I have dated mostly younger men (24 & up). Their age is not normally the issue...it's all about the maturity, wisdom and character of a man. At 21, you may have a lot in common with a 25 year old woman. Both of you are adults. If she treats you like the man you are and not like a child and you treat her like the woman she is and not like your mother or your servant...you should be fine. Go for what you know! You go boy!

Not really, but there is a big difference in what a person wants at age 26 compared to what they want at age 21. She may be comfortable settling down with you, but you may find your taste in women may totally change by the time you reach her age, and she's 31. You will undergo a LOT of changes in your 20's- you will grow up considerably- I know I sure did! But it doesn't hurt to at least strike up a friendship with this girl, and just let things naturally progress from there. The more you get to know each other, the easier it will be to figure out where things will go. Good luck!

Yed and no. If you are ready for to handle the things she will be going through in her life then yes. But when you are 25, she will be pushin 30..you may want to party a little more, and she may want to watch movies...if she is a party girl, than you are safem but if not, you may find yourself growing apart rapidly.
What the heck man, give the ol college try anyway, sometimes God plays funny tricks on us!! She may be the one for you, don't let true love walk out the door...it may never come back again!!

Not at all. Look at it this way: if the genders were reversed, it probably wouldn't even be a questions. You're both adults, and so long as you are not too far apart in terms of life experiences, you should be able to give it a try.

You are adult and the age gap is not that far. I know people with great relationship that have wider age gaps than that. Good luck.

the only time where an age gap can be a problem is when one person is under the age of consent and there can be legal trouble.
