I remember when I when I was in the 8th grade, it was a while ago but ..... the answer is that boys will NOT actively look for a girlfriend, sorry. If they are propositioned thats a different story. But as for actually seeking a girl to label a GF they won't do it. You are more likely to have success by asking a boy "will you be my BF" rather than waiting for the reverse. Good luck

All the 8th grade guys I've ever known go for anyone with big boobs, and anyone thats easy. Sad but true.

A girl that doesn't get into useless drama. (i.e. fighting with your bf every time he glances at a girl)
Remember what is important and don't make a big deal about the small stuff. We guys are simple creators. Just show us that you care about us and don't pick fights just for attention.
AND MOST OF ALL...dont tell embarrassing stories about us to your girlfriends.

all you have to be is average looking, dont worry about breasts; if you have them, even better. kids that age call it potential (trust me im only a few years removed), dont worry if you havn't developed yet cause it doesnt realy matter. if you arnt over weight and have a pretty face your set. be agressive, im not talking about putting out. just talk to the guy(s) your interested in, and talk alot. sit on his lap or something or put your arm around him. this helps alot if those kids arnt confident. if he starts talking to you alot (maybe making fun of you to try and get you to laugh) and trying to make you laugh, you set.
