Hi, does your budget include accommodation? Which part of Thailand are you going to? You will need more cash in the city than if you are in the suburb.

In Bangkok or Chiangmai, you can get room per night for AUD15 if you want budget or AUD 25 in a hotel. This may cost more in Phuket or other beachside resort.

Outside these places, it will be markedly less.

Food-wise, a meal can cost you AUD4 for cheap local fare, or up to AUD 25 if you have it in a restaurant or hotel.

One way to safe on accommodation, if you are not moving from place to place much is to look for those with long term stay package. Cost will be very much cheaper overall.

So for your 2.5weeks stay, on thecheap will cost you AUD472.50 or AUD1312.50, as breakfast is complimentary in most hotels.

This leaves you with plenty for your other interests. You can actually bring less.

Email me with your itinerary and I can help provide you with more info if you like. Enjoy your stay.
