i am looking for the little tikes wood desk with chair set in the red white and blue pottery colors. i cant find a store that sells it. little tikes online dosent sell it online it saya only in stores.but what stores?i have been lookinf online for hours! help! i need one by saturday for my sons b-day!

Looks like this style desk and chair set is discontinued. It's not at Amazon and not at Toys R Us. I suggest you find another style or brand desk for your son's birthday if you want it by Saturday.

Playing is how children learn. I don't think there is anything wrong with having a lot of toys. It's when the kids start expecting new things that you've started to create a monster. A good idea if you're worried about having too much is to put away older toys. Don't have everything out at once. If you don't want to sell it, store it away for a while then bring out later. Switch it out with something they've been playing with for a while. It will be like a new toy again. Also, instead of just giving them new stuff, have them earn it. They'll appreciate it more I think. Our house is small with a practically non existent yard but we do have a full size swing set and slide out there. Inside, we have a wooden train set that sits up on a table, a Geo Trax set that takes up half our living room and a Little Tykes bench that eats sits at. We also have a bowling set - the pins are full size, so they are quite bulky. We don't have a separate play room so our living room is nothing but toys.

try toys r us some times they buy a toy from a company and says we can only sell this toy no other stores (they did that with Aquadoodle for a while). An alternative method is this. I happen to know (because I work at one) that we got childrens desks in (plastic tho but it's a 3-n-1) for I think $10-$20. We now have them in for christmas toys but they are up on the top shelf for display. Call around to Family Dollar stores or even Dollar General and see if they have something like that because thenyou can use that as a substitute for the other one until you can find it. Good luck!

I'm not sure what you mean by "pottery" colors, but the desk in the link I posted below is red, white and blue.
